Hoselink reel hose has been a game changer for me, the 82 foot one. Have 2 now. No kinks and retracts wonderfully, have had 3 and 4 years now. I no longer hate hoses!
The problem with living in rural Australia is that our snakes and spiders can kill you. I try to keep my yard fairly tidy (no corrugated tin on the ground or piles of wood) and I also seal up all the under house entry points.
When I lived in New Mexico there were very many rattlesnakes in my garden tarantulas also! Now I live on San Juan Island Washington only little harmless snakes and spiders.
Doesn’t it make sense in a scary way that you could inadvertently pick up a plant and take home a snake with it. I have thought of that before as I cram my SUV full of plants. Yikes
Hello Rick and Stacey! Enjoyed your show but still not a fan of spiders and snakes 🙀🙀Enjoyed meeting you Rick at Weesies in Montague and the help for suggesting the Sweet Summer Love clematis for a summer bloomer on my trellis. Maybe I'll look for some of those Gatsby Moon Hydrangeas too that Stacey suggested. Enjoy your week! 🌺🌹🌲🌳
I'm forever sweeping and hosing webs from areas off my home 😏 I haven't noticed snakes, but living in the heavily wooded area I'm in, brings squirrels, chipmunks, raccoons, rabbits and other pests, I don't care for, buy hey, it's nature, it's life! I deal. I use to fear bees, but have learned over the years, and understand them 😊 You both haven't touched on SICKadas. Had you had them like I Unfortunately did, that Finally just got over, Would have driven you Nuts too. I've aleady given thought about where I'm going from late May to July 1 of 2041, but I Guarantee, I Won't be here!!! ✈️ Black Snake Moan by Samuel Jackson is a great song! 🎸 💚😊🌿
I havent come across a snake in my garden, but I think Id pick snakes over an overbundance of rodents! Would be even better if spiders/snakes were only active and present in the garden from 10pm-6am 😅😂
Rick. I can’t believe you haven’t tried a hoselink hose reel. This was a game changer for me!
Rick & Stacey- I love the show. Thanks.
Sherree
Thanks so much for watching and supporting our show! 🤗

We've heard great things about Hoselink! 😄
Great topic today. Thanks for informing us about them..
Happy gardening everyone ❤😊
Happy gardening, friend! 🤗
It would be fun to see a time lapse video of the south garden from 2020 to now
That is a really cool idea! 😄
@@pwcolorchoice oops... Thought I was commenting on a @gardenanswer video 😊
@@karenlampe5426 I was wondering if you meant trial garden when you said south garden, but that all makes sense now! 😄

Yes - you have many more dangerous snakes and spiders than us in the US! The fewer spots for them to hide in, the better! ☀
Crazy. Here in Canada we are trying to attract both.
@@mikemcconnell4935 They can certainly be beneficial in the garden!
We have had rain. Every evening. Casey says tuesday it move out my very weirdest thing here. My garden is muddy. Not tomato weather.😊😊😊
Hopefully not too much! But it's also nice that you've had a break from having to water ☺

Oh wow, quite different situations! 🐍
Re "Gardening Leave": I take gardening leave from housework! 😂
😂 You're in good company! 😄☀

That would be a big surprise when unloading! haha
My birthday 1964 LSD. Love show!
Mom said they called said they had another name drug. Mom and dad were well grown by me 33 and 44.
Happy Birthday! 🥳
I'm glad that woman didn't drop her kid (hopefully) from Fear of cart snake!
Oh gosh, yes!
Everything in nature has a purpose. Two keen eyed black racers live in our yard and we’re happy to have them for free pest control. ❤ 🐍
Absolutely! We can all share our gardens and having the free pest control is great! 😄
What about ticks?
Gotta get some guineas.
We will talk about ticks more in a future show! Thanks for the suggestion!
🕷️🕸️INTERESTING 🕸️🕷️

💚😊🌿
We will need to talk about Cicadas sometime! We didn't get them as bad as other states did this year, which we're thankful for - they can be so loud!

Spiders 🕷️ 😳
Here in central California… they come in all shapes and sizes… and nothing can be done to deter them 🫤
Sometimes it's more a matter of learning to live with than fight against!
