    Dear Brittney, let me begin by saying I am new to your videos so they are all new to me. I just can't get enough of your creativity. Allow me to be so bold saying we think exactly alike. I carefully watch your process and simply love your comments. I was introduced seven years ago to jewelry making by a dear friend who invited me to a workshop as a Christmas gift. I surrendered to the magic and therapeutic value of collecting beautiful and one of a kind stones ever since. Not to mention I am constantly buying findings and "stuff" I can transform into jewelry. My friend created a monster 😂

    It’s 2/5/2022 now and I just watched this video. I had to let you know that the last necklace was my favorite and I hope you did not take the crystals off because they gave it that extra touch being right next to your polymer shell pendant. Beautiful pieces! I love seeing what you make, thanks for sharing!

    So fun to see an older video. I love all of these items. I just placed an order for leather so I see some knotting in my future. I really like the simplicity of the turquoise bracelet with two beads from JJB but can't pick a favorite.

    Omg Im OBSESSED with that bracelet with the big sparkly gem and the Jesse James beads 😍😍😍 do you use a bead awl when you do your knotting? Also, I believe they make large crimp tubes you could crimp your ends with and then put a crimp cover over! Just a thought, I’ve never tried it with leather but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work! That painted leather pendant and those Jesse James beads worked out perfect! You killed it especially since you said those colors aren’t usually up your ally! I love that shell pendant you made! It went perfectly with those beads! I really really like the way that necklace came together! I think the dangles look pretty with it 😊

    • @TurquoiseStreet
      @TurquoiseStreet  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I LOVE that big pink bead too!! I use a pair of knotting pliers when I do my knotting! I think I got them at Joann’s or Hobby Lobby. I’ve used clamshell covers in the past for knotting, but not crimp tubes.. I’ll have to try that! I’m so glad you liked the video!! I really appreciate your input!! Thanks so much for watching and commenting! 🥰💕

    • @cookiemonster672
      @cookiemonster672 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Turquoise.Street oooooo yes I’ve heard of those pliers before but I’ve never tried them! I’ve only used a bead awl and all I successfully did with that is poke myself really hard by accident with it 😂 and of course! Thank you for your videos!!

    • @TurquoiseStreet
      @TurquoiseStreet  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would for sure poke myself with a bead awl too!! 🤣🤣❤️

    I just recently found your channel and love it! I would love to hear more about how you used to sell your jewelry full time and how you have made jewelry for so long! I am also so jealous that you have a jewelry studio! Can you go a tutorial on knotting? ,I love that last piece

    • @TurquoiseStreet
      @TurquoiseStreet  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you!! Maybe I will talk about that one day!! I don’t have a jewelry studio at the moment.. I did before I moved cross country! I am in a 1 bedroom apartment at the moment and it is bursting with beads!! I’ll be moving in less than 2 months and I’ll get to design my studio space. I can’t wait! I may do a tutorial on knotting in the future. Thanks for watching! 🥰💕

    I have been enjoying your new bracelets, they are just my style. I have been buying leather cord at Artbeads.com and it is beautiful but they have a very small selection so it's great to see the selection at braceletstreet. I really love the knotted bracelets and I can empathize with you about barrel knots. Mine are getting better, I use a piece of a drinking straw to wrap my cord around and it really helps but I still need practice. My biggest problem is finding beads with big enough holes and sometimes even 1mm is too big, frustrating. I love what you're doing so I 'll keep watching and check your barrel knot progress..lol...😼💜

    • @TurquoiseStreet
      @TurquoiseStreet  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Than you so much, Dana!! There is definitely a learning curve to barrel knots! 🤣 Yes, bead hole size can be frustrating!! That’s why I’m loving African beads so much at the moment... they mostly have large holes!! Thank you for watching!! 💕🥰

    I do use barrels knots a lot and they were for the most part pretty nice. But since I watch a video from Kellie's bead boutique where she shows you how to make them painlessly, I'm in heaven ;) I highly recommend since she loves to work with leather and making those knots in a lot of her projects ;)

    • @TurquoiseStreet
      @TurquoiseStreet  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks, Manon! I learned how to do the barrel knots by watching Kellie’s videos! I’m just not as good at them yet as I’d like to be 😊 I’m still practicing and hopefully one day I’ll be as good as Kellie!! Thanks for watching! 💕

    From bracelet St. USA can u tell us what 2 sizes of leather do u use in ur jewelery making. I don't know the sizes that well. So maybe when u hold a bracelet u can say what size leather it is that used on that particular piece of jewelery. Thk u. ❤

    Great pieces, I love the last necklace, those African beads are stunning. One of the great things about making your own jewelry is that if you don't like it the only item that you lose in money value is string or cording. Every other component can be salvaged. I'm really enjoying your videos, keep up the good work.

    Hi Brittany!! You’re doing a great job with the barrel knotting! I’m not sure if anyone has shared Kellie’s (Bead Boutique) Barrel Knott secret with you?! She (Kellie) is how I learned to do barrel knots. It takes a little practice, but once you have the technique down, your barrel knots will be uniform and pretty! Lol. All the pieces you’ve made are fabulous!! ❤️. My favorite piece was the large blue-ish focal piece bracelet, then my second was the necklace with the hand painted leather piece (I have that same piece) from Candie Cooper. I hadn’t done anything with mine as of yet.....now that I’ve seen your necklace I have some ideas!! Thanks for sharing everything with us!! You’re a fabulous designer!! Here is Kellie’s link: th-cam.com/video/-S2wVoCTUck/w-d-xo.html In this video Kellie is making a knotted bracelet using barrel knots!! How relative is that!! 📿🌼💕
