This is very, very interesting because I have diabetes; I have psoriasis, and I have lymphedema (both pitting and non-pitting). The water pill really doesn't do anything for it. It removes water from my blood but not my interstitial tissue (raising my blood sugar levels in the process). Also, many years ago a doctor told me I was borderline hypothyroid, and that I should be tested regularly to make sure it wasn't getting worse.. However, no other doctor ever brought it up again. My father also had a much milder case of psoriasis and he was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I will see if I can get a doctor to give me the appropriate tests. None of them seem interested in hypothyroidism, and none seem to know much about lymphedema. I've learned everything I know about it from the internet. I also learned from the internet that doctors are unaware of it because they cover it in about fifteen minutes in medical school. l bought your book years ago and found it very helpful.
