As a Geordie myself I can tell you that the accent is based on Norse!, a lot of the common slang is pure Norwegian. Miss this show terribly, come back Bob! Just imagine what he could do with a show about tRump supporters

To be fair where it was the first series they'd probley just got a group of crack 'eads off the street to sit in. As soon as the show got a folling it got people in who had the same sense of humor of Mills/the show.
