Lovely rifle..I was looking for one but there wasn't anything local to me so got hw97 which I'm over the moon with easily as accurate as a pcp just much more enjoyable to shoot..Good luck looking forward to seeing how you get on with it 👍👍
I prefer the HW77/97 Steve. The TX is a great air rifle with a superb finish, but there are some things i don't like about it. You made a good decision 👍 PCP's are boring to shoot and unreliable. I blow out the transfer port seal from my Air Arms S410 two times this year....I own the most HW springer models and never had a single issue with them. Simplicity is the best. Cheers!
@rapalaron6348 thanks I have trouble with my hands sometimes and being able to load pellets from the left or right is a real advantage..had a 77 years ago but still was a pleasant surprise that a new 97 was so accurate 😃
@@steve4697 That's one of my issues with the TX. I'm right handed and used to cock the rifle with my stronger right arm and load the pellet with my left hand. Other issue is to push that stupid button every time to get the underlever closed again....... On my HW77 and 97 i took away the extra safety that makes un-cocking impossible. It's safe enough with only the automatic safety like all other HW have. Cheers!
@@mikesphotography7185 Agree mate, the TX is a bit easier to work on but how often does that happen.....Yeah they have both PCP accuracy and are even more accurate than a lot of PCP's on the market if you know how to shoot them. Cheers!
Great video friend
Many thanks 😎
