Maybe you are investing too much into food early on when you should invest a little more into other things? Opportunity cost and all that. In both games, it looks like the other guy sent high mobility units to run around your army and attack the economy guys. So you could either do that back to them, or you could split your army so you have guys protecting the economy and more guys doing whatever else, something like that anyway. No idea really, just guessing since I've not played this one either.
You know, you are right in your approach. I think the way my opponent played is probably a well timed rush, so he pushed for the mythical units knowing that if he did enough damage to the workers he could win. So I think there it was just a case of a planned rush that I did not stop well. The second game was chaos, hahaha... he had a better economy and more combat units, I do think however that I laser focused on killing a building and lost too many units for that. Buildings die very slowly in this game. So I think I kind off killed myself in the second game... hahaha.
@@PshycGamingChannel Probably a good idea for now. Yeah, those buildings did seems to take a while, so I guess it's safer to target squishier things first. In that first game those fast rider things ran around the lake to get behind you, so your guys were out of position to defend the economy guys, so I guess faster units for defence could be helpful too? So you can reposition faster or just pin them down till your spears get there.
@@VainerCactus0 Yep, so I must be honest, the first game the nerves got to me. You can see that half my guys followed and the other half just got stuck on the lake. This was just miss controlled. The nerves got to me a little. The second match went better, but I was too eager to get in and do damage. In the game I uploaded today, you will see that I boxed someone in until I have units that can actually damage buildings before I tried to start pushing in. In the moment it is easy to forget that in these games, you can fight units with units, but you need special units to get buildings down fast.

On a side note, I think I should stick to the non-ranked games... until I figure the game out... Hahaha
