Great feedback. Very cool Aimpoint sent those out to you guys, and neat to see some Glocks getting some love. I think the Glock 45/19X is a great combo ergonomically. I’ve got a 19X and G47 and I always go back to the 19X. May have to get a G45 COA now.
Word is street price for a red label Glock with the ACO is gonna be about $850 for the G45/G19/G47 and a bit less for the 43x and 48. Blue label guys are gonna get a great deal. This is the first optic Aimpoint has assembled with robotic automation. Previously every Aimpoint was actually handmade in Sweden. I suspect they will release rifle optics manufactured using similar automation going forward.

The external safety is a learning curve but good to go, The capacity sucks but the fun of owning one and sending rounds down range is worth it. My former carry was the Para-Ordnance warthog 45ACP. Had a Kimber & a Colt but my EDC now is the G45 9mm. I have several Glocks, they are very trusty tools. With modern ammo technology the 9mm is and can be very effective. Just gotta find the right ammo and the right tool for whatever the job or mission. I know alot of people dump on Glocks but I love the damn things. My goal is to own every model. Getting there. 🤙🏻
💯. On a P226 I have I have night sight with a fiber optic ring on the front sight. On top of that I have a Red Dot as well. If I did it all over again. I'd do a set of blocked out steel sights. To much going on. I'm used to the sight picture now but.....if I could go back.......
I've got ACRO P-2's on my Staccato XC and Gen-5 B&T USW-G17 conversion chassis. Other than those two pistol platforms that are on the larger side of what dedicated pistol platforms can still be before they start growing folding stocks and becoming carbines that happen to shoot pistol caliber ammunition, to the extent where running a mailbox sized dot still seems a net positive. Any pistols smaller than those two pistols in my collection, my ZEV Tech OZ-9c Elite Aluminium X-Grip, ZEV Tech OZ-9c Elite Compact, my Sig Sauer XL P365 Spectre Comp, and even my big boy double action Sig Sauer P226 PRO CUT, they all get Trijicon SRO's with a steel caged JagerWerks B.R.O.S just to keep them as bomb proof as my P-2'S.

I've seen tailored uniform sleeves but never a T-shirt. At 5 yards or 7 yards? I absolutely do like the A cut and the sight dropped in deep without the plate.
I really like the “look”of this better than the ACRO and cannot wait to get my hands on one of these and maybe next year a few more for my sigs. I have a love/hate relationship with the ACRO but it is objectively a great sight. I do not like the glass to frame ratio on the ACRO, but love its durability. And for those people giving them a hard time, in a lot of their content they say while sigs are their favorite they still love their Glocks and 2011s (look at DJ 2024 pistol build video). And I second that sentiment I am a huge Sig fanboy, but I still have a lot of my Glocks and love them (and they are in my office safes.

The interior of the window is bigger than the ACRO. ACRO uses a tube to create the dot. The COA uses an emitter to create the dot, no tube, more internal space.
People are such weirdos because they advertise companies. They earned the right to, if you did, you would get paychecks to advertise companies too. You act like they aren’t running them, as long as they run what they advertise then why would it matter? Everyone is all upset because they don’t get paychecks and free guns and gear. Go become a SEAL, then deploy a couple times then try out for green team and then make a squadron in Development Group and make many deployments, then retire and maybe they might sponsor you too.
Looks interesting and I love my Aimpoint on my AR. Battery life is excellent. Having recently adding a RDS on one of my handguns, I do find it easier with a red dot but I'm still ironing out presentation since I've used iron sights for about 40 years. I do like Glock and have a 19X but I've moved over to the M&P line that seems a more natural grip for me. Still going to check it out if I can find these models around me.

From what I saw the Glock agreement is only for one year so next year the dots can be sold by aim point to the public and I imagine companies will cut the footprint on whatever pistol you want since it’s compatible with the 43x.
They are only selling these through Glock as a full package for a year. After that aim point will sell the optics only to the public and I imagine companies will be able to cut the slide so yes eventually you’ll be able to get this on a gun you have without buying a whole new gun.
I know Glock has a year lock down before they start releasing the foot print for the A-Cut to other company’s. I’m wondering if you already have a Glock Gen 5 model already are they gonna sell sperate slides for whatever is your pistol during there 12 month lockdown to other companies or just have to wait intrim time frame until the release the specs to other companies for the A-Cut so that 3rd parties can start making slides for frames that dont have the foor print.
Have you tried concealed deployable red dots . Val Industries makes them . They pop up like a convertible hatch . And are in a covered f35 kind of bay system . CW collapsible optic mount . ( just kidding nothing like that has been made yet .. have you tried hmar digital range finder dot sight . It adjusts and locks on target at distance and calculates the drop and moves the dot up or low .. seriously you need to get into the high tech stuff .

I’ve had my G-19, Gen 2, since 1993, 32 yrs. Accurate, easy to shoot, disassembles quite easily. Just a good gun overall, I love it.

I can confirm. The blue label dealer I go to has them listed for $850 and $750 for the 43x and 48. That’s including the optic.

My ACRO P2 battery seems to die between 9-12 months. Already on my 3rd battery.
That 5 years is level 6 or something. It’s never bright enough at that level for outdoors

The 26 is obsolete now that the 43X/48 run 15 round mags reliably.
