I could still remember it like it was yesterday, I may be young but this definitely made my heart skip a beat. My friends cheered, Laughter rang through the classroom with students playing and talking. I look over to my Best Friend who was now my crush, I never really thought it'd come to this. Soon, We got closer due to my new seatmate who happened to be his friend, We all bonded together and met with other friends, Forming a group filled with complete knuckleheads. At Fun Booth, Where we were allowed to buy anything outside from our school, We all met and played outside with the flaming hot sun, Even if it was hot, We all had fun playing tag or so. But the thing is, He was incredibly kind. yet perverted... He would sit down next to me in Science Class when no one did. I wasn't a loner but, Whenever he's there, I feel like I'm free to do anything, I'm allowed to laugh, cry, be angry with his side without him complaining. I thought to myself that I was so lucky to have a best friend like him, We would chat at school and text right after, But... I knew there was a problem. My friend had developed a crush on him, I respected her feelings but couldn't help but feel jealous whenever they both chatted or got close. She was always the first one to make a move. We both knew how this would be settled, We just had to know who he liked. Valentines Happened, Two boys had a crush on me but I didn't want to act selfish and all, I respected their feelings for me but told them I had feelings for someone else, The other was okay with it while the other was a yandere type... Before that very day, He asked me on what color was my outfit going to be, I told him red and on the next day, when he came up to me, A bunch of his friends were behind while I was surprised, He had a small Plastic bag and a plastic flower in his hands, He gave it to me in a rush and once I opened the pokemon ball, It was with A red plastic ring. I could almost feel myself crying of happiness to experience this 'young love'. He explained to me that we both have rings, Making it seem like we're both a couple. The last day of school was the ultimate, Where we both finally confessed our true feelings, He asked me if I actually liked him, And I told him the truth. With a simple nod, He got flustered so easily. We both decided to talk in private but our friends kept peeking from the windows to watch us. So when we came back to the classroom, They were disappointed and irritated of how awkward it was. All of a sudden, I hear a small whisper of 'I like you' From himself, HE CONFESSED! I couldn't explain how much happy I was to hear those three simple words. After everything settled, We both took our last picture together with the squad and just the two of us. What I didn't expect though is that he placed it as his wallpaper in his Tablet. I got so flustered by all the teasing my classmates did since they knew we were close. After classes, We all bid our goodbyes to our classmates and before He left, He motioned me to follow him, I did and when we were both alone, He hugged me, which left me surprised to cause me not react to it at all, I couldn't hug him back because of shock. After the short hug, He quickly rushed down stairs and went on home. We still Texted through summer, Often wondering how we're both doing and how is our summers. At first, I couldn't understand Love, I couldn't understand how people look at one person and can tell he/she is the love of their life instantly. But now, I look at him and heat rushes to my face, I can feel butteflies lingering in my stomach. To this day, We text but not as often, We have different sections and times. I'm afraid he'll like someone else and not remember me, But... He still peeks out in our window to wave to me. I met my best friend in 7th grade, I was planning on going to college and Kentucky and he recently enlisted in the military where he’ll be stationed in Florida. March 19 was his birthday, on his 3th or so year old Bday i prepared a slideshow full of photos of him and put that song as background song. The slideshow would pass his photos, and the last picture, after a white flash (special effect on Movie Maker) was a Picture of him looking at the camera... I had a DISNEY Artbook CD that we could put the Disney characters in a photo. I filled his photo with balloons and cofetties, and also a fake cartooinsh smile... made him look so silly... And the words HAPPY BIRTHDAY over his head... He died i was only 19 i guess, He was blind already... He has always been a sick puppy. I am 21 yeard old now, but i still miss you, my little baby. i have this one guy best friend, we had been friends since 5th grade. we would hang out all the time, make mud pie (we were weird, haha) talk, laugh, and smile with each other. we were close, kind of inseparable. unfortunately, before the year grade 6 had started, he moved away. my friends knew i would be affected by this, but they didn't do anything. and so, i had to move on. i had regret so much that i didn't confess my feelings to him. he would be weirded out anyway. my friends shipped us and starting calling us by our ship name and they called us cute and everything. and then, during 7th grade he came to visit and we had hung out at the local park. we legit didn't talk for 25 mins because we haven't seen each other for so long. idk what to do, my feelings for him are slowly fading away. and i relate to this song so much, and it has a beautiful meaning to it.
