The key is that lead arm and subordinating the trail arm; if you can master the stillness, you will launch the ball to the target. However, the desire to pulverize the ball with the dominant arm is a very strong obsession, and if you lack the acumen to internalize that attachment, you will be only pounding sand.

Jim, you’re a blessing. I’m getting better each time I hit the range and when I golf. Stillness or, being present in that moment, is where it’s at! It works!
    Thank you

I've read Eckhart Tolles "A new earth" and "The Power of Now" and they were amazing. I learned the power of visualization from "The secret" and I used those books and several others during my career as a mixed martial artist and boxer and actually got ranked 2nd in Africa in my weight division in 2015! Now I've found you where I can use it for golf. Again thanks for the experience of your teachings and school Jim!

Years ago i used my return putting machine to roll me a ball infront of my net. With the ball rolling to me it became very easy to time when to swing, and it made me almost never miss the ball or hit fat. But trying to visualize the ball rolling while playing just never worked. But Jim is right, its so easy to focus so intensely on the ball that we let it mesmerize us and keep us from doing what should come naturally, if it were in motion.

    You’re a thinker Jim.
Me too, although my school of thought is mainly in the area of why we do what we do.
And maybe you are too but I’m picking that maybe your’s is more focused on golf than me.
I’ve never been a good golfer.
    I’m not bagging myself.
    I’m just being real.
But like it or not I like the game and really if someone gave me a medal for still playing it, I’d probably proudly wear it.
