That’s a good fricken price for a 2023. The one I looked at was a 2023 with 3k miles and they wanted $60k. Which…is basically what they were new.
How’s it drive as slow speeds? Turning, etc in parking lots? It felt really heavy to me.

That Passport is going to sell very well. I would have considered it if it was available when I bought a new car a few months ago. If people would refuse to pay it, the price would come down. But you know there are the people who can afford it and want to flaunt that they can afford it, so they will pay whatever, and the markup on top of that. We all waited eagerly for the new full size Bronco and saw the ridiculous markups. My local Ford dealer wanted $10,000 markup for "market adjustment". Now their lot is flooded with unsold vehicles, including rows of full size Broncos.

I still am in the market to upgrade from my current gen SR5, but I probably will go SR5 again or even a middle of the road TRD Off-road just because I can’t justify paying that much for a 4Runner.

In context of the Toyota lineup, the pricing makes sense. They're placing it between the Tacoma and Land Cruiser. Trail Hunter and TRD Pro will sell mostly above MSRP. Toyota will limit production to keep demand up. Lower trims will eventually be advertised with discounts, but actually sell close to MSRP as the starting price will be inflated with add-ons.

Who is going to spend that much for a not-a-Lexus? Even Lexus is pushing it, but at least they make it fancier looking inside and out; this looks utilitarian and doesn't make sense. When I bought my Highlander a few years ago, it was because it was cheaper, albeit still expensive, but not ridiculously overpriced like this. For reference, in 2018, I remember the TRD Pro 4 Runner was, I think, close to $50k, which probably included dealer markup nonsense because it was desirable. 6 years later, it's $20k more, or a Corolla more for the same SUV that is batshit crazy.

I am so tired of this crazy price. Toyota really think people will pay the f***ing high price for the 4 cylinder cheap made? Soon it will be like tundra and tacoma rot on the dealer lot. Let's see.

Ya, count us in as a big NO and that. The should have slapped an eight speed transmission in the 5th Gen and called it a day!
