Very well put. I was expecting a 1000 comments here but the video is so underrated. I guess, it goes to show that there are not many people who think like us. Also, I've told people that education isn't just about collecting information. It's inculcation of a thought process. As an architect, I really like that you you brought it up. It is project based and also one of the best fields for jack of all trades. As one of our profs said, we're the facilitators. We may not fully know about electrical, structural, civil engineering. Or plumbing, HVAC, elevators but we have to bring in all together. I would get so indulged and thereby, overwhelmed by the possibilities, I seldom ever completed projects on time in college. (The civic authorities, recycling, material engg example you gave.)
