Hola, me puedes decir que motor has puesto y que servo también??? Estoy haciendo la misma lancha y la quiero equipar con RC. Gracias y un saludo. Hello, can you tell me what motor you have put in and what servo too? I am making the same boat and I want to equip it with RC. Thanks and regards.
In hindsight, this built was a quick and easy. Definitely not long lasting. If you were to do this properly, mounts made of ply or plastic will be more durable. For the three rudders, since it is a small model I would link all three to one small but powerful servo to save space. For the motors, I went way overkill. Smaller inrunners will do just fine if you want to power all three and get scale speed. The exact size of what you need I do not know sorry, this was a one time only build for me. I do not think I'll build another...
No Problem! The rebuild is taking longer than expected, due to getting a too big new motor! We will make an update video as to what's happening with the boat soon. :)
Why did you not show just exactly what you did to convert it , It would have stop all these "how did you..." questions , rather than all this in bath test footage.
Fair play just got this kit wondered if anyone had RC'd it looks great mate nice work
You have done a great job, and looks very realistic on the water
Red (copperoid) was used below the waterline. Great job with the conversion to r/c. Boy that's faster than 40 (scale) knots!
I have a very large older kit (about 3 or 4 feet long ) of the hmcs snowberry i am planning on doing this to in the near future.
Hiw does ruder work I have a rc hellicopter and have the boat. And I want to do this.
Where did you get the propellers?
Looks like the kit propellers
This is so cool! I'm currently converting the Revell PT-579/588. What kind of battery did you use?

remove the propellers ur not using, they will only cause drag. Since ur only using the middle prop...remove the other 2..
What all did you use to convert it? I'm getting the same model, but will be powering all 3 screws and rudders.

@@officialkiwircchannel2094 I'm thinking about using the small motors that are used in those Walmart brand rc helicopters.
Now it's time to build a bigger one with a Picco 90 Nitro engine for some 60+mph 👍Go Fast Power❗
Your boat is very stable at high speed unlike some that "skip".
Indeed!
OfficialKiwiRC Channel BTW, think you should lose the side props as they produce drag.
Why not power those to?
Nice. May I know what specific motor you used.
Hi, it is an older version of the Turnigy XK1222. Here is the link: hobbyking.com/en_us/turnigy-xk1222-11000kv-brushless-inrunner.html
OfficialKiwiRC Channel Thanks! Can't wait to see the rebuild.

OfficialKiwiRC Channel got a 1/48 Revell Swift boat I plan to RC. Been looking around for inspirations. 😉
Nice! In fact, we were going to convert that exact one, but we found the PT-109 to be more spacious inside. Good luck with your conversion!
What did you use as a shaft coupler?
We used some old RC helicopter rotor shafts as the main shaft, one inside the other, the center one spinning, and just glued them to the prop :)
OfficialKiwiRC Channel just glue as a SHAFT CONNECTOR?
Yep! It works just fine, as there is not much stress from this tiny motor and prop :)
And the ruder? How does it work?
Blue Foxy rudders easy. Use a servo some days, you will be a master about it 😋
GJ!
goes good, take off dummy props,, make a real motor mount !
