And I hate the way Chanel rolls out these releases. This is a global marketplace now. I almost just ordered it from Asia. But I was hoping that the US price penalty Chanel charges us might be less. FYI, by "price penalty" I mean that the UK sold that blush for about $50, and Canada about $70, in USD. I'll be curious what the US number will be. But we are frequently higher than anyone.
Your look turned out lovely. I bought the collection today, my Chanel beauty consultant did my makeup which was fab. I found for my fair skin tone and green eyes that these colours popped, and the peach one that looked like your skin tone, looked quite dark on me, and the reddish brown looked great on the outer corner. She put the lilac in the centre of my lid. Turned out ( for me), just the thing for skin tone and the blush was subtle and so natural looking. I have so much issues with all the very pigmented shadows and blushes generally, so this le blanc collection was just the ticket! :) :)
In this economy, I'll only be getting the blush/highlighter. Over all the reds! As I'm rebuilding my Chanel collection and all the releases coming, I'm looking for multi use products. Love the Les Beiges line and look forward to it this year.

Just this once, even I who is a RED worshipper, will agree: that weird warm brown red tint shouldn't have been put into this quad! I'm trying to make some time for some of the new releases that catch my eye, this was one, and I quickly realized I can actually, luxuriously dupe every colour in this quad. I guess I just like unique shades and after a few years of being neck deep in makeup, I come to realize many colours would turn during the day on my eyelids, and ultimately subtle differences are not worth the purchase of yet another pink or purple. My only exception is red XD I will NEVER have enough red. But back to the topic - I loved your eyelashes here! The primer does make a big difference, I guess! Popping that onto my next shopping list! The highlighting stick in lilac - I have the very first KvD alchemist multicoloured highlighter palette, that triangle, which I love to bits, and I was hoping this stick will be an equivalent on the effect, still a bit afraid it won't match my face, but after seeing it in action on you, I will most definitely get it: next spring :D My current employer doesn't support funky makeup at all. So, I'm glad it is permanent. My Chanel Healthy Glow Lip Balm in Medium, which has an 18 months life after opening, purchased probably in 2018 is finally being used up! I am not embarrassed about using it this long, it is a true testament to Chanel quality, it is still hydrating, still vibrant, still smells amazing, so no need to waste it! I have sensitive skin, but Chanel never hurt me. So I am eyeing the new tinted lip balms in their beautiful white cases, I can only hope they'll be just as good! Glad to hear the Sublimage concealer is still performing top-notch! I'm looking forward to finish my current concealer stash and get it! Last but not least, Allie, you look well and I wish you energy for the soon incoming springtime : )

I got the palette and I agree with you on the reddish shade… too warm, I don’t love it. I’ve been using the other three colours with a deep blue eyeshadow and the lilac works amazing with blue! Saying that, that warm shade can work well as a blush, so I’ve been utilising it this way. Love the looks you created!

Thank you for your review and swatches. I thought I was definitely getting the quad, but now I’m thinking maybe not. I also have other purples, and I’d rather just be lighter handed with a more intense color for the same looks. The blush however, I love and am absolutely buying.
👻 this instead of the white heart emoji 😂. Well, I have to say, I had exactly the same concern around this weird reddish, almost maroon looking shade in conjunction with the rest. First I only picked up the blush, which is so lovely, and surprisingly looks warmer on the cheek than in the pan - but it's a love! The quad is so pretty, apart from this one shade. I love the color pay off being subtle but still noticeable. Formula wise, in my opinion, the Holiday 2022/2023 quad is one of the best I ever encountered with Chanel! The Tweeds are great and their color payoff and lasting power impressive, but a lot of fallout. Delice sits somewhere in between. I find it challenging, pairing a purple lid and pinky cheek with a perfect lipstick color. I am not into nudes, but it shouldnt be too opaque either, so I end up using less purples and lilacs on my lids although it would be a great color for my brown eyes. Maybe you could do a Delice eye look with different lipsticks you might have? Not only Chanel - thank you! Sanella
Gorgeous as always. Definitely getting the blush; the eyeshadow is an easy pass, as I don’t care for pastels. I’ve been using the highlighter stick in Sculpting for going on 3 years and still haven’t made a dent in it!

Bonjour Allison, thank you very much for your review! I really love “The baume”..Recently I use it on my lips and eyelids over a regular eyeshadow and the result is fabulous! Lips are soft and hydrated and eyelids are not heavy! I’m 42 years old (dry skin and very sensitive eyes) and I love also the way it keeps hydrated the eye and cheek area. It costs a bit but it worths the money! I like seamless make up and every time that I use it people compliment me for my skin 😊 I have the Or and the Ensoleillé edition. I think I’d take the one of the other collection but I’d also try the “Dragée” one. What do you think about the Westman Atelier alternative? Is it similar? Bisous!!

Hi Allison, I tried to order the blush on line and it is already sold out. I would like to a little more about le blanc power foundation. I have been wearing Dior velvet one and I like it. I also have the liquid foundation from Chanel le sublimage, the two les bieges water fresh tint and the water fresh complexion touch. I liked them all but once and a while I would like to wear powder. I do have dry skin especially on my chin. So I would like your feed back on the powder foundation. I also wanted to let you know that I showed your video to my sister and right away she told me to order the eyeshadow for her. Thank you I appreciate your help in this matter regarding powdered foundation. I went to holts a while back and there was no one to help me because they were all in a meeting. Omg I'm so excited for this Collection! Im definitely going to pick up the blush! I also skipped the face palette... From the reviews I've seen it's not the same formula as their other blushes which is a shame 😔
💟 Been looking forward to this release. The price increases took effect in the US at the first of the year, and the jumps were so random. Some things went up $3, some things $15. The Les Eaux are now $98, up from $90. Still plan on buying though😊.

The peach color doesn’t show up on me at all, even when I pack it. In my opinion a pink would’ve been a better choice there. I like the addition of the Vibrant Violet.
The palette is pretty but I’m passing on it. The blush is what I’m interested in but not sure if it’s deep enough. It’s my favorite of the collection. I love Chanel blushes. Thank you for the review 🤍🤍
Just spoke with a Chanel SA…was told that this collection won’t launch until April in the US…so bummed. By the time it launches, I will be looking at the summer collections…all ready seeing pictures of summer launches popping up.
It’s very pretty, but I wish I had just held out for the Chanel. Mine has visible sparkle in it, which you can’t really see on the face but is still off-putting.

I got the palette and I agree with you on the reddish shade… too warm, I don’t love it. I’ve been using the other three colours with a deep blue eyeshadow and the lilac works amazing with blue! Saying that, that warm shade can work well as a blush, so I’ve been utilising it this way. Love the looks you created!

👻 this instead of the white heart emoji 😂. Well, I have to say, I had exactly the same concern around this weird reddish, almost maroon looking shade in conjunction with the rest. First I only picked up the blush, which is so lovely, and surprisingly looks warmer on the cheek than in the pan - but it's a love! The quad is so pretty, apart from this one shade. I love the color pay off being subtle but still noticeable. Formula wise, in my opinion, the Holiday 2022/2023 quad is one of the best I ever encountered with Chanel! The Tweeds are great and their color payoff and lasting power impressive, but a lot of fallout. Delice sits somewhere in between. I find it challenging, pairing a purple lid and pinky cheek with a perfect lipstick color. I am not into nudes, but it shouldnt be too opaque either, so I end up using less purples and lilacs on my lids although it would be a great color for my brown eyes. Maybe you could do a Delice eye look with different lipsticks you might have? Not only Chanel - thank you! Sanella

Gorgeous as always. Definitely getting the blush; the eyeshadow is an easy pass, as I don’t care for pastels. I’ve been using the highlighter stick in Sculpting for going on 3 years and still haven’t made a dent in it!

Like you, I like to put a highlighter under my foundation, but sometimes, I forget. Does the Chanel Baume dry down or does it stay tacky? The collection looks gorgeous on you. The blush is a siren call for me!

Bonjour Allison, thank you very much for your review! I really love “The baume”..Recently I use it on my lips and eyelids over a regular eyeshadow and the result is fabulous! Lips are soft and hydrated and eyelids are not heavy! I’m 42 years old (dry skin and very sensitive eyes) and I love also the way it keeps hydrated the eye and cheek area. It costs a bit but it worths the money! I like seamless make up and every time that I use it people compliment me for my skin 😊 I have the Or and the Ensoleillé edition. I think I’d take the one of the other collection but I’d also try the “Dragée” one.
What do you think about the Westman Atelier alternative? Is it similar? Bisous!!

Good question! I wouldn't try that because my eyelids are hooded and oily so I avoid adding gloss to my eyes, but it may work for others.

Hi Allison, I tried to order the blush on line and it is already sold out. I would like to a little more about le blanc power foundation. I have been wearing Dior velvet one and I like it. I also have the liquid foundation from Chanel le sublimage, the two les bieges water fresh tint and the water fresh complexion touch. I liked them all but once and a while I would like to wear powder. I do have dry skin especially on my chin. So I would like your feed back on the powder foundation. I also wanted to let you know that I showed your video to my sister and right away she told me to order the eyeshadow for her. Thank you I appreciate your help in this matter regarding powdered foundation. I went to holts a while back and there was no one to help me because they were all in a meeting. 💟 Been looking forward to this release. The price increases took effect in the US at the first of the year, and the jumps were so random. Some things went up $3, some things $15. The Les Eaux are now $98, up from $90. Still plan on buying though😊.

The peach color doesn’t show up on me at all, even when I pack it. In my opinion a pink would’ve been a better choice there. I like the addition of the Vibrant Violet.

It’s very pretty, but I wish I had just held out for the Chanel. Mine has visible sparkle in it, which you can’t really see on the face but is still off-putting.
