It’s “human nature” it most likely just slipped through his mind. He could’ve taken a minute to find out but Superman and Clark aren’t two different personalities, it’s just a front. It was his wife, it makes sense he would rush back over as soon as the job was done
@@realnoble676 I never said they were two different personalities. I implied that he's being dangerously stupid, and after decades on the job he should know better. He went back to the hospital and his wife was fine. And even then he didn't think to go get the Kryptonian corpse out of enemy hands.
Along with everything else that Bruno had stolen from the DoD. Seriously, IRL, Mannheim would be in some CIA black site and there wouldn't be any concerns about lawyers because the government would insist that they have no idea where he is. Here, they act like they need to negotiate with him for no apparent reason.
Clark might be too preoccupied for that. But considering the body was under DOD custody, there should already be team in charge of it and they should be following up on that if Sam hasn't already.
