    OK, question, I'm having hell with clouds, I've done sanding then cut orange pad brown bar, then yellow pad green bar, multiple times, any suggestions. I watch your videos. Thank you

    Where can I get more info on pads and compounds to use. I have an aluminum flat bed with side skirts and tool boxes. I started with some other products and am not satisfied with results. I was going to have to sand out some corrosion. Then I got hit and am in process of getting it replaced with a new unit. So I’ll be polishing new metal and probably won’t need any sanding. But there are lots of small areas, round tubes and corners to deal with.
    I’ll take any tips you can suggest

    I only use the pads with the 5/8's hole cause I'm not a pro like you but I still try to do everything you recommend

    I've had so many blow up this year Osborne pads. 😫 infact I haven't been using 6k very often as I fear for my safety and limbs lol. Really slowing things down for us during cutting. Would like to try your cutting buffs you have been testing at 6k

      Ya I hear ya, years ago I was using ***** company and had 3 pads blow up on me in the same day!!!! I couldn’t use the 6000 for a week after!!! Ever since then I’ve been on the hunt for better pads… matchless pads were the best we could find… until Osborne bought them out… so I found my own Manufacturer! My 2 main requirement we’re no vibration and that they test them at 6000rpm. Just send me a message on fb or ig if you want to order some.

    I'm polishing a pontoon, what color pads should I use?

    • @DCSuperShine
      @DCSuperShine  ปีที่แล้ว

      Color means nothing all company’s have different colors for each grade so it’s very misleading if you go By color.
      A heavy cut/med cut and a finishing pad is all you need.
      Hope this helps

    Quick question. I purchased a renegade kit and it supplied a cut and color buff… can I get away without using a finishing pad?

    • @DCSuperShine
      @DCSuperShine  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No clue! Never used their kit… I bought a couple bars recently to test on battle of the bars… but never tried them yet

    Do you know if the centre ring diameter is the same size through out the different brands?

    • @DCSuperShine
      @DCSuperShine  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most are a bit different instead of keeping it uniform throughout all company’s they all want ppl to buy “their”flange… just like apple and Samsung… some say it’s smart business… I don’t agree! Thanks for watching!

  • @rtz549
    @rtz549 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    You might be able to spiral stitch the flannel and see if it can take the 6k rpm.

    • @DCSuperShine
      @DCSuperShine  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hehe maybe, the whole point of the flannel tho is softness :) Thanks for watching! Much appreciated :)
