How do you make left turning vehicles stop at junctions?

The Traffic Manager mod has a setting to allow that called ‘vehicles follow priority rules at timed traffic lights. I went over the settings i used for the most important traffic mods here: th-cam.com/video/h0c6JVZWjG8/w-d-xo.html

I linked most of the mods I use for the roads themselves there. I’m working on making a video that shows more of how I made this city but it’s gonna take a couple weeks. I’m not sure how to make a file like that but I can find out before too long. As far as savegames, I’ll put them in a Google Drive folder and link it here for now. I’m decent at this game but know nothing about how to add stuff to the steam workshop.

That should have a few folders with multiple saves in each, dated by when they were copied. Also I put the mod config files that are in the Appdata folder in case that helps.

@@rockysets5632 thank you! I have always loved cities skylines just the one drawback I have is the unrealistic ai. My downtown will feel like a ghost town and they choose to use the most out of place road.

If you don't already I would highly suggest using the Real Time Mod to get citizens moving realistically. The caveat is in order to truly get realistic movement you need to keep the "All Citizens are Real" option selected, meaning keeping population under 65K, or at least close. In order to do this I use the Realistic Population Mod, which makes one house actually contain one family, etc. I also choose maps with less buildable area that could plausibly have significant through traffic and suburbs that could continue off the map, that way I can realistically increase dummy traffic and tourist traffic (tourists could be someone living a mile off the map). I also use the Lifecycle Rebalance Revisited mod which has an amazing setting, letting me set the driving probability to whatever percent I want depending on high/low density residential, wealth level, and age. Once all that's done then traffic is heavy and I start trying to influence the AI to behave more realistically, usually requiring some redesigning of the freeways and changing of lane connectors, or dummy traffic levels. Once the highways and roads work decently I add details. Ive been playing this game since it came out and this is the first map Ive made where it works this well, there are a couple problem spots Im ironing out and I haven't fully detailed the downtown yet. If you're going to have alot of traffic going into your downtown, I'd place the freeway a little bit away, that worked better than other designs Ive tried. Also you will need two freeways at each end for the main highway to make them use 5 and 6 lane highways. By that I mean two separate In and Out Pairs that join together to go through the city. The massive interchange at the "South" end of the map works perfectly for that while I have some issues with the side where they join up in a more busy area. Also using The Node Controller mod you can select regular middle nodes and stretch them out making for smoother lane changes or merges. AI's also do not see these as lane changes so that can be helpful to influence their lane choices.
P.S. I always tried to get all workplaces to be downtown in order to increase traffic but a polycentric metropolis works best in my experience, think realistic USA with collections of shops and big stores by freeway exits, smaller suburb towns with their own smaller centers, and small costal towns with lots of tourism and leisure.
