Best club ever. I went from late 91 until it closed. I failed my GCSE French listening exam on a monday because my ears were still ringing from the Sat night 😆

Mate, this was way before 94, amazing I came across this, I still have the tape.I recorded this from a friend in 91/92.Still one of the most influential mix tapes I have, nice one for posting.

This club was iconic for me.....I was a kid who suddenly discovered the greatest, music genre that will never be accepted due to..... well you know what I mean....how do we get it back?

And big up Steve Luigi for crossing the boundary's of musical genre as we know it today, but back then nobody cared, as long as it blew your mind.The Gallery was awesome, managed to get there just before the end, amazing venue, but the music didn't live up to Steve's mix tape. Sadly he wasn't there that night
Leeds ruled. Now I'm living in Bangkok 16 years and , and the clubbing scene is crap. I knew only the best in my teens and as a young man. I appreciate more than ever how amazing the Leeds night scene was.

I worked there after it became Pleasure Rooms but remember it as the Gallery, we probably know some of the same people, great times indeed I would love just one more night from back then, coincidentally I've just been deported back to the UK from Malaysia after 19 years so was in the same geographic area as you and I totally agree that there is no club scene in that part of the world.
Bringing back the memories like they're going outta fashion ! I went about 3 times to gallery, more stuck in hometown Bradford universe around 90' ..... Great times, miss them so so much :(

This wasn’t 94. Gallery closed in about 92/3, and it opened as Pleasure Rooms in 94. This is about 91.

This was the first Gallery tape I ever listened to, it was ar kids and from there on I was hooked. Steve Luigi is a fkin legend!
Can anybody on here help me out? Leeds back in 2000s a dj called Giles p (aka Phillip Giles) he used to play at stinkies im trying to see if there are any videos of him playing a set 🙂
