Hi Jan! Great content. I have just a question. When out of a meeting, can a share content without using Poly's Device Mode? Or can I only share content in a meeting, even though no one else is in it?
Hi 👋 thanks for your comments. Google supports sort of wireless 🛜 casting via companion app on any device works great. You can use this out of a meeting or during. JZ☕️🔧
Great session! I know Poly are saying this is only for the Studio X devices but I see it's also an option on the G7500. During testing I enabled it and it does seem to work - although I didn't fully configure it. Is it 'safe' to use on the G7500 (uncertified)?
Hi 👋 thanks for your comment. It does seem to work as G7500 as it runs also PolyOS like on X but not officially supported yet Google is evaluation this in the market... JZ☕️🔧
Hi thanks for your comments. You can use TC10 as Room Calendar at the entrance of your meeting room (different mounts available) but today only for Teams and Zoom. You might want to reach out to Google if they are working on similar feature for Google Meet. Hope that helps. JZ☕
Hi Kailas, 👋 thanks for your comments great one. So concerning licenses I was also under the impression that workspace license is sufficient but you need the Meet hardware license I thought 250 US per room per year as well. Now I thought that this Meet hardware license needs to go via your Google certified partner where you got Workspace license but please try and let me know. I understand documentation at Google is updated. See here a reference... support.google.com/a/answer/7570931 I'll keep you updated JZ☕️📽
@@janzoetemelk no I have been breaking my head ever since I saw your video on Google meet, by the way how did you manage to register your device,.? Did you purchase any particular add on licence from Google, apart from workspace?
@Kailas Nair yep you require an additional Meet hardware license 250 US per year per room you can get it from your Google partner where you got the workspace license support.google.com/a/answer/7570931

Thanks for this. Have you noticed that the Camera image output quality is different when using the google Meet provider? As well as tracking quality?
