I worked in Singapore from 2002-2003 and the malls are already like the one you are aeeing right now. The rail underground is from mall to another mall and airport as well. Good job Philippines.
Ayala’s lease will be ending in 2027 so it’s not yet clear if they’ll continue but they were being considered to be still part in the redevelopment of the area.
Ayala malls for sure will never give up market market, they will still bid to extend their lease. If this will be redevelop, it will be a great addition to have a lifestyle mall under Robinsons to give more shopping options 😀 😊
@@RoselHoleIt's been in the blue print of modernization under Marcos Sr. administration. Had the people power not happened all the projects in the blue print would have been finished long time ago.
A huge subway station with multiple access below Market Market and a new mall will be built on top of it. I assume it will carry the same stores it has previous. Also down near High Street, the Fort Strip will also be demolished come Jan 2025 and will be replaced . That's recently posted at the BGC 's Facebook page.
Thats for more modernization of amazing modern BGC soon BGC has modern Hi Speed Subway train so the foreign tourist will easily travel to one modern city to another modern city. Amazing!
@@emilyacana341 Slums in Metro Manila have been significantly reduced compared to 5 to 10 years ago. In Quezon City, there's a big commercial district from Eaton Mall, Quezon Avenue MRT station all the way to Solaire North. That district used to house thousands of slum dwellers and was visible from EDSA. There were also slums that were bulldozed to ground in Pasig. I saw some actions while I was driving before. In Manila, there were thousands of slums that were also razed to the ground to give way to skyway and bridge. In Quezon City again, there were slums that vanished to give way to MRT 7. Sure. What is the anticipated completion date and has groundbreaking actually started? It took the Philippines about 30 years and 6 administrations just to complete only 1 phase of the Cavite Extension LRT. 30 years from now might be the timeline for the 3rd phase. Right of way issues and years of litigation and misappropriation of funds are common occurrences.
Goodbye subway projects! The Marcos administration didn't give budget allocation as in zero budget for 2025 for big ticket projects in the Philippines. Sad to say, the subway projects were included,😢
Good for you can roam around BGC anytime. We’ve been in the Philippines now for14 months after residing in America for 16 years but we haven’t had the chance to go there. The horrendous traffic I see in tv is preventing us. I’ll just watch your video. Thanks

Not renovation but redevelopment as it will be completely demolished and turned into a mixed used complex. Ayala’s lease on the property ends on 2027. The BCBA who owns & manages the land did say Ayala Corporation who owns Market2 is still welcome to participate but no agreement has been finalized yet.
