    I've been trying to buy from US and Japan factories, but Kizer is keeping me from batting 1000. They have a bunch of cheaper knives with low-end steel that have no allure at all, but some Kizer models, like the T1 make so much sense, in the build and in the connection between handle to the cutting edge, you can tell some thoughtful knife designers came up with them. Great review.
    Also, you are hands-down the handsomest couple doing knife reviews. When I hear Neeve's voice, I imagine a seasoned shop hand that is 20 years older and 100 lbs. heftier for some reason.

    I checked old reviews for this knife because I have a great opportunity to buy it for really low price. And your channel was first to try because of your knowledge even back then.
    But why I write this... I never imagined that knife review will make me cry... Until now... Her look at you at 12:03... All the love and understanding in it... It makes me both happy for you and miss the Woman of my life so much at the same time. Be happy, J+K, wish you all the best!

    I actually paused this video and grabbed my T1, so I could fidget while watching. I stopped carrying it and I couldn't remember why. You guys helped remind me of how great this knife really is. Thank you.

      That is awsome, we just recently seen someone modify and put a spydie hole in one and it worked out so good and it looked amazing 👍

    Most Kizer knives are of this quality. I’ve bought several Kizers recently, and they’re all excellent. I have also bought a couple of high-end, non-Kizer knives, for $300 and $350 each, and both were defective (and returned)! It seems that money can’t buy excellent quality knives!

    Great review, nice knife! And I especially enjoy watching you two grab sharp objects from each other. It's almost as fun as watching people run with cisors ,and nothing gets the adrenaline going like a good run with cisors race!😁✂️

    I love my T1. I think it’s a perfect modern day folder. Great design, nice ergonomics and mine fires hard for a thumb stud and drops shut with ease.

    • @NeevesKnives

      Yes that’s my exact opinion too. It flings out quick, closes smoothly and it a perfect size for everyone

    I love the Kizer T1 more then anything... I really quit collecting or trying new knives weekly after I bought one(or two or three) If I could get a standard pivot with no twirls I would say other then not being made in the USA its hands down my favorite carry and hard use knife. Kizer knocked it out of the world with there Gure and T1 if you love thumbstud knives like me.

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I totally agree, Kizers old thumbstud knives were some of their best models, they have some awesome newer knives also but the t1 and guru are hard to beat

    GNAB👊 You got yourself the perfect wife. Now you need to find the perfect knife😑
    I love my Kizer knives. I have 3 of their Vanguard series and 2 Bladesmiths. While that should be enough to serve all purposes and last me a lifetime, I'm seriously wanting to get me some more. The T1 might be the next one!
    Tell me though, what's your take on the Aileon? Personally I thought it looked peculiar, but bought it anyway because it was a real steal for a knife with S35VN bladesteel and titanium scales. I find it's not only a very good cutter but (for me) it's extremely good in hand and remarkably modest in the pocket. I guess what I'm saying is, don't just dismiss the ugly ones off hand😯
    Ofcourse I'll understand if you don't have the time to waste on the ugly ones, and I sure would like to see more reviews on the prettier slicers (TS129 ?)😏

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, Kizer make great knives and the t1 is a great knife with quality you know as soon as you get it in hand, the detent is strong right away but breaks in very nicely. The twosun ts129 is one of the knives that I’m very interested in, there’s 4 different to models that I’m super interested in and hope to be getting in the future. There are so many incredible knives right now and it’s a great time to be buying knives, I’m gonna go and look up the real steel knife right now, I can’t think of which model it is.

    • @esoteric5277
      @esoteric5277 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NeevesKnives Not a Real Steel, it's the Kizer Aileon (an older design, I think I've seen some reviews from about 4 years ago). It has what I'd call a clipped Persian-style blade in S35VN and a peculiar looking titanium frame that fits my hand exceptionally well. At € 75 I figured it was a real steal, not in the least because even on AliExpress it'll cost a little bit more than that.
