Beautiful art, and I love your interest in using ASL! ASL has a grammar and syntax that incorporates facial expression and gesture as well as handshape and is distinct from English word order. It uses a lot less articles and connecting words than English - “I am real and you are not” in English would probably look more like “I real, you not real you” in ASL, slightly turning the body between the two clauses to indicate the “and” and with “not real” being indicated by using the sign for real while shaking one’s head. The extra “you” at the end is used to indicate when one is finished signing.
I hope you don’t mind the little infodump! I really don’t mean it as criticism and I do love the PMV, your OCs seem really cool and I love the fox/hare imagery!
