Person in critical condition after an accident sent their car into the water near Alki Beach

A woman is in critical condition after a two-car collision sent their vehicle into the water in Seattle's Alki Beach neighborhood, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The accident happened on Alki Avenue Southwest.
Witnesses told police a man was driving at a high rate of speed when he crashed head-on into the woman's car, sending it into the water.
Bystanders acted quickly and pulled the woman from the water onto dry land.
