One theory is that Henry naturally remembers most of the fails that explains the massive increase of skill he displays during the successful options. His stands power even allows him to send people into alternate dimensions how could he do that without prior knowledge
Yeah in CTM there are lots of times they visit alternate dimensions ie spirit mode, teleporter, diversion, proberly stickmin punch and multiverse imbalance.

If you get all the fails in the game and then go to chaos control's mobile station you can send a package back into the past all the way back to Henry.
i love all the tf2 references like the whacking the engine with a wrench makes it better and the disguiser (spy uses disguiser and the mask is shown to teammates) (wrench is what engineer uses used to upgrade)

Why does no one remember that in Stealing the Diamond, the teleporter was "off" but it WORKED, and was the success path.
Tinari Kaotika the teleporter worked in that one because that was supposed to be the original final game, but fans urged for more.

Not so! Remember that one machine that allowed him to try traveling alternate realities? It caused him to develop something I call "Multiverse Syndrome" In which the person is aware of everything happening to them specifically in the multiverse, with it's consequences. However, it somehow malfunctioned, giving this syndrome to the Henry Stickmin of the past in "Breaking the Bank", causing him to remember everything from thereon out.

Of course every fail is canon, in one of the endings, after you get every single fail in the entire collection, you can trigger a cutscene which causes the package that helped you escape the prison in episode one to get sent to you.

What exactly does "canon" mean
Canon, basically what is considered part of the story. Perhaps Henry knows about Charles' Greatest Plan and it's likely that you didn't play that to begin with, but it's considered part of the greater story.
Artsy Poppy it means it accurately happened you know how in some cases like spinoff or one shot episode their not canon just for fun and to try something new

I have this theory that Henry went through all the endings and failures in a specific order, beginning with him being a bad person, before he doubles back, changes things around to suit himself, first for selfish reasons then for increasingly selfless ones, relapsing into his life of crime a couple times, taking a year-long break on the Stickmin Space Resort to think over his next move and deal with all the trauma, then finally making his way to the most good-guy ending.

Hi, CaptainSauce, that area where you had 8 choices was actually a reference to "Crossing the Pit", which was like Puffballs's prototype for the series, in that game, all the options were the same as the one in here, except all of them failed, which now, of course, can't happen, it's a nice homage since there isn't really a good way of putting it as its own little chapter.

The reason why the time machine worked was because when Henry went back in time he threw a rock at the two "past" versions of the two people who captured Ellie, therefore ensuring that no one was there in the future.
The Bukowski brothers were fighting with each other causing them not to be part of the government. That's why they were not in the future.
