I am a project manager, and her line about it not just being about hitting deadlines. It is about the team. All of that strikes home pretty hard. Thank you for sharing this insight into such an interesting role in games.
Accessibility options it's not seen as optional because of disregard to the people that need them, for the most part is a matter of it being costly, specially for indie games.
She had 2 months of experience at the time of filming.. so I'm guessing she didn't really know at that point. Would be interested to see this again, with a year of experience under her belt.
A bit simple. What are some concrete examples of hands on duties or an actual day for this person? I'm not sure if I'd like to have her as my producer per se.
If she walked through spreadsheets, you’d say she’s boring. If she shared burn down charts & Agile dashboards & Backlog / story management, you’d say where’s the fun. SHE humanized the role. You can look at Agile / Dev Process tools & tactics on google yourself. This was a good angle.

Thanks for humanizing the role and making it about people over processes.
Very interesting as i'm currently applying for this type of role from a graphic design background. Thanks for sharing
