Praise God you have been able to walk away from this. My little sister had a similar car accident her senior year of college & is now a bilateral amputee. God has moved mightily since - she is a mom, lawyer, & advocate for better health insurance coverage for durable medical equipment & for amputees more broadly. Prayerfully He will use this experience to bless you like He did for my sister. Triumph from tragedy ❤️

You guys were so lucky ! Thank God. That same thing happened to my daughter and her fiancé years ago and they had just climbed out of their truck when it caught on fire and completely burned it to the ground. They were up in the mountains and it took 35 minutes for a sheriff to get there and another 30 minutes for a firetruck. Thank God they made it out safe.

I hear you I wrote my car off on the 22nd of Dec 8 years ago but I got caught in loose gravel I to this day remember my first hubby saying don’t fight the wheel and I was airborne and I can still see myself going and nothing I could do but pray and I walked away from it and it’s so hard but most of all is you can replace a car but not people but remember you need a new car seat as of the unpack it no good I’m praying for you and your family I’m in Australia if I was closer I would come give you a big hug you are blessed love Your sister in God Kathy

Several years ago my nephew was in an accident. He was headed to work. He was going down a hill and the sun was in his eyes. He clipped the passenger side on a school bus. He was not hurt. The blessing was that his sister was going. To go with him that day and then changed her mind. Had she gone she may not be here as she would have been in the passenger seat.

My anxiety has been through the roof lately and your story is so encouraging to help me just try to relax and always remember that God is so so good and there’s nothing an ounce of worry can accomplish. We truly do have to just give it all to God. It’s oddly beautiful in your story that He used the one spot you’ve always worried about having a crash as if to say to you, “Don’t worry, my child, I’m here, I see you and I will care for and protect you completely.” I’m so glad you are all physically safe and I pray that traumatized feelings will dissipate sooner rather than later for you. I truly believe He will provide the next vehicle for your family. My mom always tells me I’m robbing people of the opportunity to be a blessing to me to not allow the help when I allow my pride to get in the way. It’s part of community and something I believe God intended for His children to lean on each other but ultimately on Him in the hard times. Love to you and your beautiful family! 💕

So happy to hear you were all safe, I’m normally a quiet watcher of your videos and don’t comment often for what it’s worth I believe you should allow them to utilize the go fund me platform. If you do please share it here so that I may help some. I know I also would have reservations about doing such a thing however maybe it’s the Lords way of asking you to release control and allow him to work through others. I know my choosing to give brings me closer to the Lord and you could be allowing many others to have that blessing in blessing you.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. We lost my 'niece' about 4 years ago now and not a day goes by that I don't mourn her. I put niece in " " because she is my best friend's daughter. We met when both of our girls were 1yo. We are both single moms and wound up working at the same hospital, living in the same city and taking our girls to the same daycare. They grew up together and were often asked if they were sisters.
Watching my friend struggling to cope with her daughter's passing has taken an effect on both my daughter (now 21yo) and I, on top of our own grief. I too struggled with how God can/can't be ALL good if he'd take this child so violently and suddenly and so young. It's taken me a long time to realize that it isn't always about that he "causes" things to happen in our lives, but how you are supported and loved by Him thru those tough times and encouraged to be supportive and loving to others during their struggles.

I was rear ended by a semi truck 3 years ago. After multiple surgeries, months and months of PT and counseling for PTSD I am still full of anxiety and rarely leave my house and property
I black out when thinking about it. I can't remember if I lost consciousness or not. May. Our heavenly father keep looking out for you

I so sorry to hear about your accident and the fact that you were so horribly injured in mind and body. I cannot say "I know how you feel" but I can empathize. I'm a single mom and bought my daughter and I our first home post-leaving. It was an apartment-style condo and loved it. One night in December about 15yr ago now, we were having supper when I heard this weird sound and then BOOM our neighbour's suite exploded with a huge fireball being shot out their window. It happened on the other side of our dining room table and my 5yo daughter was pinned to the table by a big mirror I had on that wall. Long and the short of it is we lost everything and were both very traumatized by it. For years my little girl would not go into any building that had more than 2 floors/storeys. We were both in counselling for PTSD as well. Then about 10 years ago, I had a spine/spinal cord injury. I too have had multiple spine surgeries with each one, seemingly, leaving me worse and in more pain than before.
So, as I say, I will never pretend to say that I know how you felt/feel. That's just not possible. I can say that I too have experienced trauma and injury, though at two separate times. It's hard and there are many times when I think "what the heck did I ever do to deserve for this to have happened. Then I realize that the Lord isn't creating the situations that happen in our lives, but is there to walk with us through the good, bad and awful things that can occur. I truly think that all He asks in return is that we treat others in a supportive, kind and grateful way during their rough patches.
I hope you are feeling better soon. Please remember that you aren't alone in your pain, both physical and emotional. I wish you nothing but the best and that your healing continues to improve.

Wow Julie. After listening to your story god is good no matter what. I'm learning more each day. I'm a Christian but I do beleive and have faith. Just want to be a born again Christian. I pray indo my prayers evert ime of day. I was an avid church goer but where we live churches are few. I'm am so thankful tonsee you standing there and telling us your story. God saved all three of you for a reason. I'm sure you will be granted a van soon and I'm sure by people asking to fund you is his way like u said of the community helping you through him. As a family of 12 we know the concern and added fuel cost of not having a vehicle big enough for all of us to ride together. We’re glad you are all safe. Watching as I sit in my run down RV....having once again NO electricity from the 'park'....with rain storms daily...though my leaking roof air conditioner....I've said those worlds lately...GOD...your in control... what would you 'have' me do today........I'm trying to 'breathe' in the humid FL weather tonite...leaving my door open..( screen on )....to get air...trusting IN HIM............. ( live in wooded area...soooooooo different animals can approach my open door.......yet....I trust IN HIM )

To me , it is so overwhelming with my feelings of gratitude and thankfulness in how the Lord can provide for All Our needs and the ways He does it ! Also when we've had such "close calls" that we think are big things that God does for us ...they are in fact big but for The Lord , it really isn't it's just what he does because of his Mercy and His Grace for us ! And when he does these things .... He always gets the Glory for them ! And yes ! God IS good all the time ! What happened to you , it is something close to what happened to my parents when I was a teenager ... They were hit broud side on front corner of their Chevette and my sister was with them ! She had a few bruises and my parents were in the hospital for a good week ! But they were still alive and ok ! God protected them ! But when I was about 6 months old , my biological father passed away in a fatal car accident ... So I never knew him ! But the Lord is still Good ! Anyway I'm so glad your all safe and ok ! I know God WILL provide what you need ! He has done it over and over for my husband and I !

Praising God with you that your family is safe! We rolled a Ford Econoline van once with our church members and our 5 month old daughter in it. It was so scary! But all of us walked away with out a bruise even! It was a blessing and a miracle.

Praying you’ll find the right vehicle to continue protecting your family. Our family had a similar experience when I was a teenager and we too walked away from a major car accident with barely any scratches or bruises.

God Is Great ! I’m so glad you all are safe! Have you contacted your vehicle insurance? I’m not sure how your vehicle insurance works in your state but ours would probably pick that vehicle up and pay you X amount of dollars to go toward another vehicle.
