I'have a complete Otteinger kit on my Golf R 2016 .I'm very pleasd whith the quality and the durability , is fits flawlessly .I can agree that the price is little to expensive ,but it looks super nice on my car!
I want to say these Top 5 videos and videos in the recording room are filler content, due to the weather and early nights, automotive vlogs won’t be going anywhere🙌🏻
Have you ever seen the Strafe Design stuff mate? I especially like the diffusers and want one myself but its a US based company and cant seem to get them over here.. www.strafedesign.com/collections/volkswagen
Subscribed thank you for your videos! I just got an MK7 R and your videos have been super helpful.! I even purchased the carbon fiber mirrors you recommended and they are great! Much love and keep up the great videos
Got an ecs carbon fiber lip for my 7.5R since it was “smash & dented” for like $150 (they want like $450 for brand new ones... ridiculous) and it lasted about 2 days... the worst part is it I didn’t even hit anything although I did scrape a few times so I might’ve pulled it loose, but because of its design and how it kinda clips over the stock winglets I thought it felt solid enough to wait til I either taped it down better or decided to drill into my bumper, but apparently it wasn’t cause it fell off today racing an m5 😭 not sure if it snapped from 2 much downforce or what but if it wasn’t already in pieces after I immediately ran it over it definitely was by the time I circled back to pick it up 😭 knew I should’ve put more tape than it came with but I just wanted to wait til a day I was off work and it couldn’t even last that long 😪
Is it me or does the ottinger front splitter not lower the front end like the other splitters do? If it does it cant be much as it looks like it just covers over the chrome strip
I’ve not got a splitter on mine plan is exterior wise is vwr lowering springs and 19” rotiform kps’s in similar colour to the metallic Pretoria’s and maybe a Pandem rear wing but not the whole kit
@@jamesr50 I am not too sure, but i assume the Flow Design ships their products to Europe. I have the full kit on my car, and highly recomend it. Front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser for under 1000.00 AU dollars. Love your channel by the way
@jamesr50 have you had a good experience with Oettinger kit? I really wanted to Oettinger kit for my MK7.5 R but I’ve seen a lot of complaints about the quality on VW forums. When I bought my second Golf R in March 2019, the only oettinger kit I could get factory fitted was the spoiler and race flaps. The dealership I used said even if they could do the Oettinger kit, it would be about £2.5k and the quality doesn’t tally up to the price tag.... For the price tag of a Oettinger splitter, you can get a custom made forged carbon fibre splitter.
Kiran Payne thanks for the info, im really happy with Oettinger spoiler i cant fault the quality and the styling lines line up perfectly, it’s a shame the oettinger parts cost so much
U should definitely have way more subscribers, I would think u would be at 50k! I don’t think anyone has made a proper review/comparing of the Mk7 R and the GTI stage 1. There are some but not very satisfying at all. (Just a thought)
M Mixing it up because of these early nights cant record anything in the dark only have time for driving etc are on weekends until the light night start to come in
I dont see onm themaxtonm design website front splityer v2, can smoeonje send mi link or somethying?

4:09 sums up the whole video well. Fully agree which is why I don't run splitters at all... Singapore streets are just unfriendly to low cars..
Which would be best for TDIs ?

MrMental it’ll look good👌🏻 the full pandem kit would be brave🤣
@jamesr50 have you seen front splitters for mk7 R by Race Design ?
Do you know what wheels are on the red dl14 car and the blue r?
rotiform kps
I have the Aerofabb v2 for mk7 golf r. Love it and it’s fairly durable.
Nothing beats flow designs
I can't believe you haven't mentioned the Flow Design front splitter!! Looks awesome, cheap, and virtually unbreakable!!
Mirza Semic flow design have some great splitters I was looking into them but same again most of my viewers are UK&EU based also maxton has a EU shop

Mirza Semic I do like them some of them are really aggressive👌🏻 is yours holding up?
@@jamesr50No issues whatsoever. It's a bit scratched at the bottom, but you can't even see it unless you jack the car up. Other than that, faultless.

jamesr50 yeah 😂 you could get the akropovic exhaust for the cost of the body kit
Aerofabb is pretty nice as well.
James Morel
They do have good splitters but we dont hear of them enough over here
I broke my Maxton V2 the same day I mounted it. Looks like a broken tooth :(
Just picked up the isweep today
IAN ROBERTS Nice!👌🏻

Id say Aerofabb v2 would be #1
Ok fine I’ll subscribe
Lol
Reiger is nice 👌
Joseph Storey 👌🏻🙌🏻
Tempted to get a Rieger front splitter as it looks the nicest but it's really expensive
L15EWT it’s nice but same quality as maxton so something to consider
Prefer the videos whilst driving rather then talking into a mic
M Mixing it up because of these early nights cant record anything in the dark only have time for driving etc are on weekends until the light night start to come in
The Rieger front splitter looks better and is stronger then the Maxton and TRC cheap crap.
Totally disagree with your number one choice
