Adjournment Motion : It is to discuss a matter of urgent public importance and it suspends the proceedings of the house. Unlike calling attention, this leads to debate and possibly a resolution or decision on the matter 3. Short Notice Discussion : It is used to again discuss matter of public importance that has arisen suddenly and requires immediate decision.
