These criminal sociopaths are not "taking business away from doctors". Their clients are ghetto people who never would have gone to a real doctor anyway. That's why they go to you. 34:00 OMG, poor young lady!!! It's crazy dangerous out here! Please look for certifications on your own because many just want $$$$! The ONLY way an Aesthetician can do injectables is if we apprentice under a Dermatologist or get our RN degree/license in addition to our license. Us standard Aestheticians only get 750 hours with limited Anatomy & Physiology of the face/body. More course hours and extensive medical training will be needed to be certified in that area. Ask for their certifications and go to the .gov site in your state to verify them.
It irritates me so much when people treat teeth like it's nails. Stop there's a reason your dentist trains for so long and gets medical training to be a doctor of teeths. U get one set of adult teeth, that are connected to so many vital nerves in the jaw and more. No to mention if they do that over cavities your teeth will rot underneath that's where "veneer breath" comes from. Yes it's frustrating dental care is so expensive but it'll cost more to fix
I absolutely loathe how whenever those "injector techs" are called out for performing life threatening procedures their come back is always something along the lines of "y'all just hate to see a woman being successful", "y'all just hating bc you hate so see a black woman winning" like no girl. Go girlboss however you want but don't put other peoples lives on the line for a 'successful' brand Edit: over $1 million in medical dept what the actual fuck??? how is that legal?? the US is absolutely a third world country nay even a third world country has better medical care
I'm so glad I never got into any of these procedures. I'm a nurse and I just question how all these procedures are gonna play out as the years go on. I see more bad than good. They've already proven that filler never fully goes away. They have done multiple MRI scans on people and they can see filler still visible years and years after they've been injected. So I wonder how that will affect them as years go on.
Thanks for spreading the word on this 😭 I have always been scared of getting cosmetic procedures (not like I could afford it) but I am going to continue to be wary and vigilant and I hope younger more impressionable people do the same! It's so sad you could go for a simple procedure and end up battling serious medical conditions because of unlicensed practitioners
I was waiting for you to mention the nail lamps (10:50) and honestly I would absolutely not be surprised if they are also using some nail product on the lashes, it would explain the burn when they are 'curing' them....
The person with the plant in the background talking about the lip filler was just so well spoken and client centered like you can tell a real person in the industry. But that's hind sight for some, these MALICIOUS people searching for the bag are so predatory and disgusting, they take advantage of people who might not tell they're not legit. Professionals buy supplies from professional places. Drop shipping is scary, the tools around are scary when it comes to people preying on others for a buck. Nasty.
when you have really thin nails (I do from a year of gel and I know it’s bad to keep applying gel but my nails were damaged from biting anyway) the burn hurts SO BADLY and doesn’t go away for 10-15 seconds. I’ve writhed in pain sometimes 😭 I’ve improved on my technique overtime though, and get it rarely
This is so terrifying. Are medspas different from dermspas? Because I only go to dermspas. The place I get my facials at is connected to my dermatologist's office and has access to my records. I never got injectables and never will, but those are all done by registered nurses. Even for my hydrafacials my esthetician checked my records and made sure that accutane was out of my system. I wanted the lip perk hydrafacial and she would say no without hesitation if my lips looked like they had even the smallest amount of inflammation to them. Even when living in South Korea I only received facials from dermspas, connected to the doctors. I thought I was being safe but damn. I don't plan on switching to spas anytime soon but this is a good reminder to do extra research before picking a place. I can't imagine what these girls are dealing with. It's so heartbreaking and frustrating.
Whyyyyy do people keep experimenting with body parts that don't grow back, are very expensive to fix if they can be and hurt the worst when something goes wrong???? Teeth. Eyes. Aaaaah.
As someone who has been getting LED lash extensions with very professional and experienced tech I could not imagine my eyes being burnt?! Poor girl, and it makes me so sad that people aren’t being properly educated.
Please know the red flags to look out for when having any beauty treatments done. Whether it be lashes, nails, facials.. anything! Real damage can be done and it can lead to lifelong issues that impact other treatments (for example 2-HEMA is not only used in Gel nail products, it’s also used in the medical fields which means if you develop an allergy to it, you may not be able to seek medical help if needed x) 😢

you cannot take a shortcut in health or in self-confidence. if your teeth do not align together when you bite, it will ruin your jaw in a big way, wreck your whole life. the cost of fixing veneers & those acrylic things?? will ruin your whole life for decades- financially, physically, emotionally, & mentally. whatever decision made in desperation & self-shame will haunt you much longer than the inner work necessary to overcome this. i know it's hard, but finding people to surround yourself with who will love & cherish you, that you will be able to be loving & silly & happy together without worry, will be infinitely more healing than any shame induced actions created by peer-pressure from those that don't even respect you. love without respect isn't love at all. you deserve real love with real respect. be safe, be kind to yourself, be gentle.
4:25 She called it girl math bc it really ain’t mathing at all. 2 eyes * 100 lashes * 2 seconds = 6min 40sec Only one second per lash is 20s above the given range. To get the 2 minutes of light exposure assuming 1.5s per lash you’d have to have 40 lashes per eye…
As an esthetician, this stuff makes me SO mad. I've seen so so many people neglecting their clients' health just for a paycheck. This industry is wildly unregulated, and it is scary. ALWAYS do research into anyone/any company before you get a procedure done. If you go somewhere and you feel uneasy, don't go through with it.
I work with uv leds for my job (for water disinfection) but uv really isn’t something to play with. We have to wear safety glasses, cover our skin, and last week someone still got a sunburn from testing. Let’s not play with that, especially not by the eyes
I am triggered after having all my teeth removed due to trauma i was left a root system intact after the surgery.Set up infection and down to 110 lbs!Life is done for me...
I don’t buy the “natural fits best”. I grew out my hair to the natural color and it completely washed me out to the point people commented on it. I did that for a few years and forgot what my hair looked like bleached and then I got it bleached again and the way it brightened my whole appearance was night and day. I got even more comments afterward about how I looked so much brighter and healthier (which btw I really feel like ppl shouldn’t be commenting at all lol but whatever)
im sorry but putting a uv lamp up in my eye even if it is the "correct" type just doesnt seem safe either way. Its not like you can get new eyes if something goes wrong.
35:40 ive had micobacterium abcessus since january/feb, was diagnosed in april at NIH after going to doctor after doctor back at home and nobody did anything. I was on several pills AND iv antibiotics and will be on really strong antibiotics for at least another 5 months. It. s u c k s. Mine is stuck in the lymph nodes in my chest. Im glad she was able to get treatment
What’s so crazy to me is even with a licensed nurse there’s still a chance of injection going wrong they literally disclaim that so why when the percentage and control of where the product is going is even less with a hyaluronic pen get this service 😮
Gorlies who find this topic interesting might be interested in knowing there’s an eye surgery that can lighten brown eyes to a blue color which I just think is insane!
I saw this a few years ago and it made people go BLIND. I’ll never complain about my brown eyes. 😭 Even that model that faked Heterochromia got the procedure. Yikes! 😱
We desperately need some kind of regulatory agency that can investigate and prosecute these DIY “techs.” Since these people have no license or regulatory agency they have to report to, it seems the only action victims can take is to file a lawsuit which rarely results in consequences because if the tech being sued has no money, the victim will never receive their restitution. These people deserve jail time yet the police and DA seem unable and/or unwilling to investigate/prosecute.
Just a reminder from your friendly local physicist that UV light is radiation. The same thing that comes from these lights also comes out of gamma radioactive substances and your microwave, just with different wavelengths/energies. And it can absolutely be used safely and effectively, just like a microwave can be - but when it's going near sensitive body parts you need to let the trained professionals handle the procedure
im getting botox (a tiny amount between my eyebrows) and im going to a whole doctor with decades of experience, i would never ever let someone without a medical degree touch my face
Imagine thinking you are going to save money using these people just to spend the money you saved and more in medical bills or treatments to fix the issue

Go girlboss however you want but don't put other peoples lives on the line for a 'successful' brand
Edit: over $1 million in medical dept what the actual fuck??? how is that legal?? the US is absolutely a third world country nay even a third world country has better medical care
I LOVE Isabella thank you for shouting out her content
Woooo! I just discovered Isabella a few weeks ago. So happy to see you include her
It’s all fun and games until somebody loses an eye.
That first woman, UV??!!! On the eyes??!!! Have they never heard of cancer?
The fact that her receipts are like random articles and app dms
Sp glad someone is talking on this.I have been thinking of doing something myself and may go forth.Someone needs to look into online boutiques.
You cant see red flags when someone burns your eyes out with a UV lights...
Nasty.
Im sorry but if i hear the words "tech" and "atlanta" i am RUNNING the other way girl. They should change the name to Scamlanta
when you have really thin nails (I do from a year of gel and I know it’s bad to keep applying gel but my nails were damaged from biting anyway) the burn hurts SO BADLY and doesn’t go away for 10-15 seconds. I’ve writhed in pain sometimes 😭 I’ve improved on my technique overtime though, and get it rarely
Its mostly happening to black women so regulations aren’t being rushed.
Teeth. Eyes. Aaaaah.
this whole video is making me stay forever "ugly" and happy for it
(
You and Isabella are my faves
thank you 🫶🏻🩷
Ahh love you & Isabelle ❤️ so good to see you both in one video 👌👌
I love Isabelle! & these "techs" are getting outrageous!
As someone who has been getting LED lash extensions with very professional and experienced tech I could not imagine my eyes being burnt?! Poor girl, and it makes me so sad that people aren’t being properly educated.
Thank you for bringing awareness to these "procedures"!!! 😊
I have been subscribed to you for YEARS I watch your videos everyday even if it’s not new I normally fall asleep to your videos at night. Anyway tell my why it just told me I’m NOT subscribed!! Please TH-cam get it together I only watch this and good mythical morning so come on lol
omg i love seeing you stitch with isabellas video!! i was just watching it!!💕💕
you cannot take a shortcut in health or in self-confidence.
if your teeth do not align together when you bite, it will ruin your jaw in a big way, wreck your whole life. the cost of fixing veneers & those acrylic things?? will ruin your whole life for decades- financially, physically, emotionally, & mentally.
whatever decision made in desperation & self-shame will haunt you much longer than the inner work necessary to overcome this. i know it's hard, but finding people to surround yourself with who will love & cherish you, that you will be able to be loving & silly & happy together without worry, will be infinitely more healing than any shame induced actions created by peer-pressure from those that don't even respect you.
love without respect isn't love at all. you deserve real love with real respect. be safe, be kind to yourself, be gentle.
So earlyy love it! U look great 😍
Also wondering about your thoughts on the Cody Tana situation. Are you planning on making a video?
Loveee❤❤
Thank you 🩷 will definitely be covering cody ko on my main channel because im disgusted
3:35 Are they not concerned about eye cancer with all the UV light used so close to the eyes?
4:25 She called it girl math bc it really ain’t mathing at all.
2 eyes * 100 lashes * 2 seconds = 6min 40sec
Only one second per lash is 20s above the given range.
This made me think of John Cuckian. 😂 What happened to him?
Omg I haven’t heard that name in yearssssss😂
Haha haaaaa what DID happen to him!? 😂
I love Isabella too you're both great content creators ❤❤❤
Our health insurance in the US is the WORST
im sorry but putting a uv lamp up in my eye even if it is the "correct" type just doesnt seem safe either way. Its not like you can get new eyes if something goes wrong.
not even 1 minute into the video and had to full stop because the uv light burning the eye took me out!!! what are these people doing?!
Ayyy Isabella mention! Love her channel and yours
What’s so crazy to me is even with a licensed nurse there’s still a chance of injection going wrong they literally disclaim that so why when the percentage and control of where the product is going is even less with a hyaluronic pen get this service 😮
i just cant imagine pointing uv light directly at my eyes like what
Gorlies who find this topic interesting might be interested in knowing there’s an eye surgery that can lighten brown eyes to a blue color which I just think is insane!
I saw this a few years ago and it made people go BLIND. I’ll never complain about my brown eyes. 😭 Even that model that faked Heterochromia got the procedure. Yikes! 😱
@@jessicaschoonen5923 that’s crazy! Yeah I ain’t that desperate for blue eyes
Uncertified injectors make me so angry. That kinda thing deserves a mandatory prison sentence in my opinion.
when worlds collide!!!! i loveee isabella
could we just go back to strip lashes? lol
strip lashes almost always look better too lol
I really like format of videos ❤
