Purchased the 7.5 this weekend, first round played I hit 7 putts total my first 7 holes (farthest being 12ft). Shot my lowest round of my life (75). I still had a 3-putt but coming from an older Spyder Tour to this putter made a big difference in confidence with my line and feel off the face. Not to mention the grip design relaxes my hands. Best $$ I’ve spent so far on my bag.
i went and got a putter fitting done and they fit me for a 7.5 but I had a 5.5 that i just adjusted to the specs they told me. i still wasn't putting great. but, i traded in the 5.5 for a the 7.5 i was fitted for and qualified for a state am with it and it was the first round in the bag for it! it's 1 for 1!
Just purchased the Phantom 9 today. Coming from a blade. I really wanted to go with the Squareback 2, but i wanted more face balance. I rented a Phantom 12.5 and rolled every putt great. I have 90 days to decide to keep or trade. I have a feeling I'll be running the 9 for a few seasons.
Just took the new Phantom 9 on trade for a mint Newport Beach and while it's not my ideal dream-putter as far as looks go, man does it roll the ball nice.
Scotty's plumber neck spider has less toe hang than the slant neck spider or the scotty 7.5 or 5.5. It says the amount of toe hang on taylormade's website
they're definitely less "loud" than previous phantoms and futuras. But I think they compliment the new select line better. the new grip is really nice too, although I think I prefer the Pistolero Plus from the previous models in the hand a bit better than this new design.

A big hole in the scotty line up is a higher toe hang mallet. Example being what Scheffler using with plumber neck
the 9.5 has a toe hang
Great video guys. How much can you get a Phantom 9 for?
I want to try the 5.5. Playing a Select Newport now, blade. I assume a mallet will give me less twist face especially when money on the line?
where do you get a putting mat like that?
The platform was custom made by various contractors.
Yes. As does 5.5 but its mild. Something more like toehang of spider line up. Like scotty s uses needed

Clicky don’t know if it’s the ball or putter
It’s the putter. Glad I tried it before I bought it.
ultra ULTRA underwhelming… design.
What is underwhelming about it? What do you want? Scotty Cameron is always going to be very traditional
