The wife and I were given the opportunity to train Human Scent Discrimination Bloodhounds for a few days with the FBI 20 years ago, high lite of my life. Having had more than one of our Dogs poisoned, My question is to you. How do you train your dogs not to eat poisoned treats that are left on the hot trails? I Know how the Military train their dogs not to eat anything they are not suppose to and was wondering if the RCMP train the same way. Thanks any insight would be great.

If you ever get the chance to experience the Best of the Best at their job spent a few days with the FBI K9 unit, they only use Bloodhounds. Our Bloodhound that just past over 1 day before her 11th Birthday, "Au the Bloodhound" longest recorded successful trail about 10km, oldest recorded successful trail just over 6 days old. Some of the fun facts they tell you when training with the FBI, Bloodhounds were proven to have the ability to be able to Scent Discriminate one particle out of a trillion. The FBI studied the Bloodhound for 8 years in the 80's before they created the Bloodhound K9 unit for tracking serial killers.

The bad guy doesnt say : "good job", to the dog bitting him. The handler should do that..
    "Modern" training for you....
