The climate of the area is ideal, as it is dry due to the altitude of the area. The appearance of the village changes during the winter, as the snowfall is never lacking and adds a white veil to the roofs of the houses and the fir trees.
Karya is located just 30 minutes by car from the city of Argos and 40 minutes from the cosmopolitan Nafplio. It is 138km from Athens and 167km from Athens International Airport Eleftherios Venizelos.
