    Top speed was 272kmh. I was not able to get my head lower because of the camera. Might have gone a bit faster ;)

    Good to see a rider that respects others on road and speeds safely for once :) pretty awesome run!! I have the same bike its a whole lot of fun but I too only go crazy when its safe to do so too many people die around here lately doing stupid stuff.

    the shifting tho... :(
    you can hear the clutch cry..
    upshift without the clutch at high rpm's please..

      @ToreB 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Josse MudKipz Yeah, the clucth is burning, I can smell it even here.

    • @xkcd1521
      @xkcd1521 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha, you have never owned a old Ducati (sorry if you did :D).. thing would not upshift without the cluth (the shifting lever would be just stiff and not moving at all), or downshift for that matter and required rev-matching each time. Even in slow speeds/low RPM's, when you shifted from 2nd to 1st without rev-match the rear wheel would just block (good for a nice 'shit your pants' moments). False neutrals between 4-5 and 5-6 gears, rear brake not working at all (just on/off) and so on.. Funny, I always looked forward to ride that damn thing and had grin on my face all the time (compared to smooth as butter Japanese bikes)

      Dann zeig mal ein Video von Dir... Es gibt hier so viele, die denken Sie wären Götter.
      Und nein, ich selbst halte mich nicht für den besten Motorradfahrer.
      Das fahren können bezog sich außerdem auf den Kopf, den er mit eingeschaltet hat und sich nicht aller Ghostrider ect links, rechts, oben und unten an den anderen Fahrzeugen vorbei schlängelt. Zudem weiß er wo die Bremse ist. Das weiss auch nicht jeder ;)

    Hi!
    Ich fahre zur Zeit eine SV 650 S und überlege nun mir was schnelleres zuzulegen. Wie ist eigentlich der Durchzug von niedrigeren Drehzahlen bei der 600er? Ich nehm mal an, dass mein V2 unten rum vielleicht etwas besser geht, oder?

    Sehr geiles Bike! Ich fange in den nächsten Tagen wieder an und beginne erstmal mit einer Suzuki gs500 oder eine Yamaha xj600. Mal schauen, welche Gebrauchte einen besseren Eindruck macht.

    • @JulesSii
      @JulesSii  10 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Yes! I got the gsxr after riding a yzf r 125 for 2 years. Its a great bike and handles very well. I would not recommend getting a 1000cc to start out with. Friend got one 2 weeks ago and on the 2nd day he crahsed, just too much power for someone who just started... :/

    • @TheFelimac
      @TheFelimac 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally I wouldn't recommend a 600 sports bike to a beginner. I started on 125, then moved to 250 a few years later. Then moved to 600.( Just bought a Gsxr600 last year). Awesome bike, awesome horsepower but definitely not for beginners. A 250 is more forgiving. A mistake on a sport 600 can be disastrous.

      +Felix Mac I agree. I went from 125cc manual bike to a Kawasaki ZR7S, A 750cc half faired bike, just a bog standard all rounder. it was perfect for me.
      Next bike will be a Bandit 1250S :)

    • @geoffart79ii
      @geoffart79ii 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +Matej Horvat you prob made your choice by now... but no. I wouldn't recommend. gsxr600 is my bike. that after owning: ybr125, cb500, gsxf 650... and even then the gsxr600 took some getting used to! its not the power; its the sensitivity of the control and the fairly difficult handling setup. it take a lot of experience with bikes. even if you ride it ok under normal conditions and on one day... it might catch you out under less than ideal conditions. TH-cam is littered with people losing control. You have to be experienced and smooth with the power delivery... have a close connection with the bike that only comes with many years of riding... otherwise it will bite you when you really don't want it to. The issue is the throttle spins up very fast with very little movement of the throttle... the brakes are extremely sensitive... the turn circle is not good at low speed... the bars are very low and so is the ride position. its a lot to focus on getting perfectly right when consequences for getting it wrong are disaster. Its an awesome bike to ride, but a very unforgiving one... and you dont have to ride like an idiot to come off... a good attitude isn't necessarily enough.

    Where is the indication of 272 kph? Did I miss it? Anyways, you must realize that all suzuki speedometers are out by 10-11%. Your REAL speed is approx. 30kph less. I was shocked on my 2014 GSX650F that top speed showed 230kph and my GPS tracker only displayed 207kph. This is an area I find that many bikers forget to consider.

    Why are You using clutch to gears up on this bike?

    • @JulesSii
      @JulesSii  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      It doesnt have a quick shifter like my s1000rr

    • @engels1978

      GeNuiNe212
      I in my old Yamha FZ750, and now in my Honda VFR800, and in mine friend's quite new Suzuki GSR600, I also do not use (except of corse starting ;) ) clutch for gears up! I use only for gears down, but even then not always ;) It is much faster way, and when You change from 1st to 2nd gear, there is no this "special sound" when You go trought "0"/Neutral point! :) It is enough to put leg on gear shifter, push gentle and just change down a bit throttle for a 0,5 second (or smthg) and gears go up by itself... ;) No need for quick shifter :) Oh and it even worked well on Aprilla RS50 ;)

    What people like you don't ever seem to get is that this kind of riding is unsustainable. You will eventually crash (and probably at a very high speed), it will also be because someone switches lanes when you're not expecting it. Its rarely the motorcyclist's fault, BUT you will still be the one on the ground......or dead/paralyzed.
