Superman really needs MORE omnibuses. If Marvel can give us ALL of Chris Claremont UXM run, then DC can give us more of the world's greatest superhero.
I never read Death and Return of Superman or Red Sun, for example, because I don't like when Superman is evil and/or the stories are too sad. I love Superman when he is happy saving kitties, when he is struggling with his humanity but still choose to fight for humans, when he is happy or even sad doing what is right because he knows he has to do what is right, no matter the cost. I love Superman because he is good beyond belief. On an intellectual Level, I appreciate that are other types of story written featuring him and that author are able to explore a lot of ideas using Superman as a character or a device to their narratives, but for me, my top 10 Superman stories are those where he is the wholesome, awesome, amazingly kind being a symbol of hope for us all ♥
I also can’t stand when Superman evil. It’s so boring lazy and overdone now! Some parts of Superman red and blue are sad but there are some that are beautiful and perfect! It might be worth checking out someday! Did you watch my top 10 Superman video? You might find some cool books on it!
Tomasi Superman definitely has to be top 5…over war world saga…shocking! But man missed space age or up in the sky! For honorable mentions! Red blue was good but up in the sky!? A Tom King Superman!…sheeesh! I just got that Geoff Johns and Gary Frank absolute and can’t wait to read it
Rebirth Superman was on my previous top 10!! And I just had it in my last video of top 10 dc omnibus for new readers! Haha and up in the sky was my #1 pick on my last video!
Jake, I have the 5 trade of the Death and Return of Superman that has the connecting spines. But I never get to know if the Omnibus is more complete. I was told that the trades has more content. Do you know?
NOICEEEEE list bro ! Superman is one of the most important heroes in the world of comics today. Looking back on some of these stories, I will NEVER understand how anybody finds him boring. He has so much heart. He’s slowly getting it, but he needs MORE & MORE love from DC’s collected editions dept. This man started the idea of “superhero”. Thank you for making this video bro. He deserves to be celebrated.

You need to read James Robinson's run Supes as well. Mainly the Atlas arc with art by guedes.
