    Thank you so much for this! I don’t know why this isn’t taught in school? I got thrown into sight-singing and aural tests at A-Level, having not had to do it before. Naturally, this terrified me and gave me the impression I was rubbish at it. Of course I was rubbish at it. I hadn’t done the elementary aural/sight-singing work that is required to be done in order to get to this level!! I have a really good ear so I’ve got by on that but I need to relate the sounds to what is written down. Curwen hand signs is a new thing to me and I just know they are going to help enormously. Thank you so much!

      Helen, although a life long musician, I didn’t learn the hand signs until in graduate school and they have made such a difference. Very best to you as you jump in. ~Roger

    I am very inspired by your tutorials. I am just building up a community choir for church service. My major problem is how to get them to sing as one voice. I mean like each voice parts (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass) will sound like one person. What are the best tips or vocal exercises to gain the best tonal balance and intonation? I will greatly appreciate your help. May I have your email address, please?

    Is there any special software to write tonic solfa notation in a computer?

    • @RogerHale
      @RogerHale  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I really like this music notation software. It is open source and free of charge. As far as "writing" tonic solfa, you would just need to put it in the lyrics line. Use solfasinger.com as a reference. Hope this helps!

    • @RogerHale

      لقد عرفت بعض النساء اللواتي تغنين بشكل أفضل عندما تكون حاملاً. يمكن أن تعطي المزيد من الدعم الجوي للمغني. تتمثل إحدى الصعوبات في زيادة الارتجاع الحمضي (GERD) لدى بعض النساء. آمل أن يساعد هذا.
