@@Marquicio29 i hope so too. i will probably go for the S version and convert it to a handlebar setup because i do not like the clip ons. i rode a thundercat once and i did not like how the grips were positioned which is the same as the SV 650 S clip ons.....
What did you use for a mid-pipe? I have the same exhaust on my SV. You can’t beat it for the price, but most of the insulation will burn out of it in a few months and the “stainless steel” has a tendency to rust.
I used stainless steel knee 90 degrees and i cut a half of it. I could not find any other solution how to connect exhaust with pipe. With this exhaust I have only 300 km, for now eevrything looks ok, no rust, nothing burned. We will see this season how its gonna be after 1 thousand kilometers :D
Arkasha Es okay then don’t bother with the SV650 you will probably get bored very quick and it won’t feel all that much different than the ninja you had. The fz09 is kinda like a beefier SV650 and it will be more fun if it’s unrestricted.
@Marquicio29 I plan of purchasing the same exact muffler. According to the SV forums the pipe diameter right before the stock muffler is 51mm just like this replica muffler. So it should line up perfectly no?
@glenn lagman I bought exhaust "knee" 90 degrees 54 mm. I cut half of it and I got 45 degrees angel. So between stock pipe (before the stock muffler) and replica exhaust I use 45 degrees pipe 54 mm.

@@Marquicio29 By chance do you have a US based suggestion for a midpipe? I'm having a really hard time finding an exact fit pre-fabricated mid-pipe that isn't $100+ for some reason
@MDA I was thinking the same thing. Everyone I asked says the pipe size before the muffler is 51mm. So it should line up perfectly with this replica right??
Alexander Vouzenthal Yes I think so... The exhaust fumes are not braked and the engine becomes destroyed. The engine is preset and they count also with exhaust gas resistance. Then why would they put it on the bike? 😁 yea, sounds pretty good, but the best option is to buy modified exhaust. My new exhaust is a cheaper way 😀
@@Marquicio29 Yeah, I think so too. I'm buying a street legal bike in the future. I thought about 1000ccm sport bikes for the sake of speed, but I prefer V engine naked bikes for both sound and looks. My country got bad roads as well, and I rarely ride on highways. Your bike is nice though :)
If you own a SV 650 and you keep the stock can then you shouldn't ride motorcycles. Let's be honest it sounds worse than a 125 with the stock can. You can barely tell it's a V twin except when it revs to roughly 8.000rpms.
@@omardude39 Consider atleast a slip on since the SV is mainly silenced through the end silencer. If you get rid of that it sounds brutal. I highly recommend Mivv.

I actually think it sounds the best without a can.
Well Yea but it's so fucking loud. Too much.
I tried mine out without a muffler for a day. Sounds nice, especially at idle, but it is so loud it's annoying when you're actually riding the bike.
