This stage just reminds me of all the good times I've had in the old arcades back in the day. And three specific games come to mind when i hear the music to this one. 1. Dance dance revolution extreme and supernova 2. Wangan midnight maximum tune 3. Initial D. Truly the best of times
If you are talking about Supernova from Ivan Torrent then I can barely hear it. Supernova made you feel like if there was gigantic, something that made you feel small against the giant. It's barely there for this one, while epic this seems it more fitting for an intense battle or the likes.
The way my wife described it, Tetris Effect is a celebration of You, the player. Each stage fitting an emotion. And this stage displays so much joy it's almost testament to the want to go back to good times.
@@mattygee6852 Yes, Expert difficulty cranks it up, it’s 6/16/18 here. At the end of area 5 its 8/18/20, then 16/18/20 for stratosphere. 20 is instant gravity where the piece falls to the stack in one frame and you can only move it along the stack before it locks into place.
now this is what I needed. the "official soundtrack", or youtube topic for this track, doesn't play in a very similar way as in-game lol. this is much better with the way the buildups happen. I should have checked out theater mode. thanks for uploading!

From the very beginning of this one, with just the smoke and what sounds like screaming, I was just like "um???" and then I cleared a line and oh, fireworks! Of course! One of my favorites for sure.
Every time Journey Mode puts you at Speed 1, expect it to get _ridiculous_ soon.
Any time Journey Mode slows down in the middle of a song for seemingly no reason, expect... Well, that.

I like how this is the last stage of a set. It really makes it feel like you're in the home stretch.

At phase 3 journey mode it will get faster and energetic. I never expect my childhood tetris game become like this.
