I agree completely with Dave as far as the beginner. They need to go through all of the natural growth plateaus: food intake, techniques, programming, recovery, etc. Then once those variables have been figured out, you are better able to gauge exactly what the PEDs contribute. You will have a "control group" for all of the other variables and can now see clearly, the efficacies of your PED usage. Tough road to convince a kid to travel for sure.

I didn’t start until I was 32 and had almost 20 years of training. I knew how to eat, lift, and hit my genetic ceiling, everything for way over a decade before I got on. Is gear great and effective, obviously. But it wouldn’t work as well per mg, if your diet, research and knowledge of gear, and training isn’t already 100% for years PRIOR to starting a cycle. People will use higher doses to compensate for the lack of fundamentals and foundation that isn’t there already (food, training, research and knowledge, genetic ceiling and muscle maturity naturally) just to see results. Which is why a lot of people new to gear are running such ludicrous cycles so early on. The only guys who will be able to handle those sides are guys with young organs and decent genetics (18-25 range) beyond that you’re going to destroy your health running the cycles and protocols these people are running nowadays.
Love to know how you mitigate against an enlarged heart which will likely fail early, hence so many bodybuilders dying so young. Fact is PEDs are bad for you, end of story really.
@@ZakBurrell Prostate massage is not used as a treatment for prostate enlargement, also known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). The treatment of BPH typically involves medications such as alpha-blockers and 5-alpha-reductase inhibitors, or, in some cases, surgical procedures. @@David-ed1jm According to the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), there is strong evidence that eating too much red meat may increase the risk of bowel cancer, and it's considered a probable carcinogen. Some evidence also suggests that red meat may increase the risk of other cancers, such as prostate and pancreatic cancer. A Harvard study published online Oct. 19, 2023, by The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition suggests that eating red meat each week - even just a little - is tied to increased diabetes risks. Another study: Those who consumed the highest levels of both unprocessed and processed red meat had the highest risk of all-cause of mortality, cancer mortality and cardiovascular disease mortality. After adjusting for other risk factors, the researchers calculated that 1 additional serving per day of unprocessed red meat over the course of the study raised the risk of total mortality by 13%. An extra serving of processed red meat (such as bacon, hot dogs, sausage and salami) raised the risk by 20%.

This can’t be compared to steroids, it’s apples and oranges. Next, going on to talk about the people that die drink driving yet not mentioning the people that kill themselves or makes poor choices due to steroids and the litany of psychological effects is rather disingenuous. Let’s see where this video goes, but within 60s it’s clear these two aren’t the best critical thinkers.
