@@wildwyatxbox That's the best part about mods. You don't need DLCs. There are a lot of key mods that add just as much content as DLCs. Just check the mods section on the homepage. Find mods from the workshop and then check out the most popular ones. They're really easy to install. You just need to subscribe to the mods and they'll be added to your mod list. You'll have to reset the game after you add them for them to go in effect.
Silver the first one that started it all, made it till the end even with all that injuries and sickness and be the last one crawling into the ship. What a champ!
This series really scratched an itch, been needing some nomadic rimworld content its such an interesting playstyle. Also you should do another Dwarf Fortress vid, nobody formats DF like you did 🙏
Each and every one of your playthroughs is magnificent, but Nomads is just the best - simply so much more challenge and variety - and not just the usual defend 1 map for 10 years until the game lags out. Thanks!
This has been my saviour whilst being stuck in bed with Covid, during my lucid moments I've slowly been chipping through it, thankyou for such an amazing video
1:06:40 - House burning down - Noah's Ark thirsting for blood - pillaging raiders currently out for blood *Sigh* "Let me find a good paragraph to stop at."
I love this! I typically force the location to be random on all crash related starts, so I've done a tiny bit of this style of play, but never would have thought to do it for an entire play through. I think I might have to try it for fun.
Bloodlust is the trait that let's pawns wear tainted armor, Psychopath doesn't mean no disgust response. Bloodlust pawns are the ones who love blood and guts, psychopath ones just lack empathy.
I love your vids. They really help me to relax, enjoy the story and get to sleep. And also with poor quality english knowledge of mine it's a bless that you have such a nice voice and speech.
Cocaine Megasloth basically being the main supporting character early on is so funny, it did most of the fighting to guarding and kinda shows off how OP and unsung the Animals skill can be even on the hardest difficulty and threat level, Yttakin are a tad too strong a race imho the fact you can day 1 with most Ytakkin colonists run out and recruit a grizzly bear or Megasloth or hell if you get lucky and have Thrumbo walk into the tile early on nab them too and just have those animal do almost all the early on fighting against people with crap guns and melee weapons. Also means you can have an actual full pacifist colony who are just good with animals and refuse to fight, thats a super fun run I won't lie lmao animal armyyyyy. Oh and this is NOT factoring in the crazy crazy money an animal oriented ideology colony can make with that also involved the animals skill becomes a top priority for me personally, always like starting off with a good animal handler to just initiate the profit stream for me as early as possible and the fact you also get able bodied fighters who have way less risks of say, losing an hand to a small calibre pistol. And the cherry on top is if you want to make ANY kind of big money, you need animals to haul the sellables to other locations so essentially it makes animal skill genuinely in my eyes the most critical skill for specifically making money.
Can do a North Korean play through? I wonder how you could make that work. Like how to organize the colony and the ideology. To me it sounds like a difficult challenge. 500 days as North Korea
@@veequeue Oh That I know Thanks, I worded it wrong, I meant how can you be a nomad and visit different tiles on the map, for me it only allows it on special missions or Faction places. I suppose you just abandoned your settlement?
@@veequeue I didn't say to leave the map, but a nomadic lifestyle would probably center around foraging, as well as taming animals. There is no good way to really do vanilla tents or something, so some building would probably be necessary, but anything larger than a 3x3 hut seems a bit out of place. Yes, I have thought about trying a nomad run as well, and thought the idea of moving with some important furniture on some horses while not having anything else sounded fun... haven't tried it yet myself, though.
No, when he uploads the last 100 days, he makes a movie of it, the whole 500 days. If that makes sense, if you want the "new" part of the video skip to near the end. Sorry if I don't make sense, I've been drinking. 😅 Edit: there's chapters to tell you where the 400-500 days are.
If the game can't defeat you. It just starts a huge fire to take you out in the early game. Totally cheap way to ruin your game. I'm about done with it for those reasons. Any advice anyone??
Make a roofed area wider than 5 tiles around your colony ( fire can only spread to tiles that have plants and are closer than 5 tiles and building a roof prevents plants from growing), build using less wood or maybe just build some firefoam poppers.
@@marcosmartinezmuelas319 Not just that, but every time you get rolling, someone gets sick for no reason, somebody gets mad for no reason and smashes all your components, it's not even fun anymore. I spend more time fixing problems than advancing. It's relentless with the cheap tricks.

My day is complete 😊
A no violence campaign would be so good where u use pawns who are unable to commit violence
little surprised you didnt turn the old lady into a vampire, would've stopped her aging and made her an even better meleeist
