Big fan of Giro helmets. Originally due to styling but after a crash I had when I was wearing a Giro Synthe couple of years ago, I appreciate the quality and the protection of their products. And yes, narrower is a better look. Thanks Ben.
Looking to score one of these after I recover. Hit the pavement at 40 mph two weeks ago and the Aether I was wearing probably saved my life. Nice review.
The spherical slip plane thing is no joke. I got launched OTB into a drainage ditch and knocked my head. My first thought "That should have hurt a lot more....I should be unconscious right now."
@@veganpottertheveganLook at the multi million dollar test lab for Giro and it's #1 rating for the safest bike helmet ever and compare it to your goodwill 90s jammer helmet. $300 is standard for top tier lids. Enjoy your 🍄 head.
Let's go sponsorship! Congrats, Ben. I think this helmet will be my next one after my helmet dies. Oddly I prefer how the Aether looks despite its mushroominess, and the Helios/Eclipse seems a little more conventional-looking too. There is something about how the very front of the Aries juts out rather than tapers in that looks odd to me. Gotta do it for the sake of aero and ventilation, I guess.
Sure. I prefer Dynaplug because the whole system is smaller. But plugs do work - so long as the hole is not bigger than the plug, like in the event of a sidewalk tear.
Castelli Estremo Skully. It's got Gore-Tex Infinium on the front, so it's warm without being clammy and it's not bulky. I wear that one and the Estremo Cap a lot in the winter. tinyurl.com/2ses5ptw

Giro Aether is the best helmet I've ever had. That double helmet rotation stuff works.

Holy smokes the price 😳
Crazy huh? Same as the evade and prevail. Helmets are getting expensive!
@@2323buster there are still $30-40 helmets out there. These are for people with money for toys

Thanks very much, Alvin. It's good to have options for helmets, eh?
Looks good, almost as nice as the Kask Protone.
I hope they fixed the crappy roc loc system. Mine broke twice on my aether
Could u potentially do a review of Stan’s Darts??? I just don’t know if they are too good to be true.

How does this helmet fit like? Oval like aether or More round like synth?
More oval.
@@TheRidewithBenDelaney More narrow than aether?
Seems they modeled it after the protone
What about $CAD for us Canucks?
I have asked but haven’t gotten it yet. Sorry.
No explanation of why I need a wobble-head helmet !?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
What are you wearing on your head underneath the helmet?
