I think the only thing that the Bachelor can do with the twyrine extract is to use it for a decent immunity boost. As far as I remember, it was the Haruspex that can use this to craft medicine. And I agree with you, Eva really did not deserve such fate, she's so lovely. I believe it was Maria who put her up to this. Both of these ladies are very fond of the Bachelor, so perhaps it was Maria's way to get Eva out of the way... which is pretty horrible when you think about it. But then again, Maria is the daughter of the late Nina Kaina, who's also known as the dark mistress. A woman who was feared by the whole town. Perhaps Maria is taking after her.
