I think this is the perfect size boat. There aint no unnecessary spaces but it isnt too cramped.
Nick , You got me hooked on your fantastic tours of boats of all sizes . My very favorite is your 85 ft and the 78 ft boats . Perfect sizes without hardly any crew or none at all . If I were to buy a boat it would be this 78 foot boat .I have always dreamed of tiring up to the Amstel canal and running a business of my Tours out of the boat as a home for me and my office plus a full time secretary to arrange tours for me and a place for my two close friends and their children and their mates . The good size galley matters a whole lot with a large food storage fridges and freezers . I think that each guest room should have a small fridge for their snacks for a quick meal with a small microwave to go with everything . And of course a washer and dryer for everyones laundry needs . I think the boat should have a extra room for the boat maid and cook .

This boat..... I think this is one of the all around best boats I’ve seen on your channel. It has civilized elegance, a ton of utility, more than enough room to entertain a group or spend a number of days out with a few family and friends, and nearly a 1K mile range (if I heard that right)? Wow!

Croatia: great place to start. Then we can have a race to Valletta - loser swabs the winner’s decks.
I’ve chosen a colour scheme and name, got a few ideas for interior design, drawn up a shopping list for toys... Need to choose a tender next. (We all know it’ll be a Williams Diesel jet, but I think it’ll take me months of test-drives to choose... 😉

Wingcommander Walton That would make it a fun race: matching boats with identical power specifications.
The winner would be the better navigator who was less prone to distraction. It’s about 1,000km - but there are so many gorgeous places to visit on the way... I reckon at full throttle that should take a couple of months, maybe a whole yachting season.

This is the ultimate yacht for me and the best thing about it is that it is a Princess yacht. What a beautiful piece of design, quality, fit and finish including good accommodation for a crew for a change. I would be happy to sleep in the engine room for a week just to admire its complexity, machinery, considered layout and tidy arrangement and I am an architect, not an engineer. In my view, for its size and cost this is the premier yacht on the market, reviewed by the premier yacht presenter on TH-cam. Thank you, Nick, for another brilliant comprehensive video.

For a boat that size, its bordering on perfect (much as I love Sunseeker). Princess master cabins are a work of art, the layout is excellent, theres not an ounce of wasted space, theres a more than decent crew area and the materials choice has definitely gone up a notch over the last few years - the grey touchs are lovely. Very nice indeed, as is your presentation as always - I bet you sell a few boats indirectly.

Wow!. What an Amazing yacht, it’s beautifully furnished, love the layout with its open through living space. The hard top over the fly bridge is so sexy. And of course that engine room is just epic!, in fact I would sleep in the crew cabin just to be next to them bad boy V12s. Now for a ‘little’ Boat they have got this bang on. Layout, style everything. Only thing I’d be interested to see more of are they options for the main dining table. A boat of this size will generate a lot of chop whilst underway, and those chairs will be flying around all over the camp. Something more integrated and modular would be in order I reckon.

awesome tour as usual, this one shares a hull with the S78 but I find the latter more practical with its tender garage and both generators tucked under it in a sound-proofed mini-lazarette; good luck sleeping in the Y78's main cabin if a generator is running right next door in the engine room

Hi, I really like the boat tours that you do but? would really like to see more of the underside of the boats, especially the props/ rudders/ bow and stern thrusters. I also really like the boat tests actually showing what the boat can do at sea so if you could include more of these that would be fantastic many thanks Darren.

James Ellsworth And there's actually a way out of the crew cabin that isn't on the stern. I always wonder how they get in and out during storms and rough seas with entrances on the stern like that.

Hi Nick, this my new favorite dream machine, like all the others I love your channel, this one is a beauty, you would need lessons with a boat this size, going into dock as you could do a lot of damage with a boat this size , three times the length of my last one .

That one had the near perfect layout! I like the separate owners entry, and the crew cabin was very nice for a permanent crew. Not some sardine can cubby hole as on other yachts. I just wish it had enough range to cross the Atlantic, or go from the Panama Canal to Hawaii.
You're not going to get that from a high performance boat of this size that can achieve over 30 knots. At this size you get huge range at low speed from a small engine or big performance from two big engines.
New price is a good value for this well appointed 78 foot yacht, big engines, very fast and lots of heads. Owner operated may be possible, but I'd prefer a crew of super models... ;-)

Not sure if I want this or an S class with tender garage. Only one small problem with either at the moment! Excellent tour as usual thank you. Is there a possibility that you could do a video on full running costs of a boat of about this size and can I ask if it is a Gopro you are using for filming?
It is indeed a Go Pro. Running costs is a tricky one as there are a huge amount of variables. It's a little like asking the question 'how much does it cost to run a car?'
Can always put a tender on the platform at the back when you’re under way; easy enough to float it when you need the platform.
As for running costs - triple them for me because I’ll be at the helm on the fly bridge, throttle all the way open, with an open shirt & a pair of RayBans and thinking I look like Don Johnson.
It tends to be 10% of the cost of the boat per year to operate

Nick. Another great video. There were quite a few ornaments out on show on that boat. I have often wondered - do they have to all be stowed before going out to sea? Otherwise wouldn't they just fly about once you hit some swell?

AQUAHOLIC A full tour of the new Ulysses would be nice while you're at it. ;-) That would be quite a workout getting around that entire ship. But I guess we're not ever likely to see the inside of that yacht since she's not for sale or charter.
It’s basically just the old 75 with some grey paint on the Flybridge and the Bar & BBQ ... like they always say, If it ain’t broke, paint it and add 3!
