I scored 18/20 in this challenging English listening test but I enjoyed it. The voices of some speakers were difficult to understand so they needed to speak up a little bit, and I had to listen to them again to get the key points I had missed. It was super challenging, and also a little daunting to my brain due to the rapid speaking rate of some speakers. I'm used to forcing myself to catch the fast rhythm of native speakers much better. I got 15/20 = 75%, in the first part I made two mistakes, in question two I chose wallet but it was also phone, in question five I didn't know that closest friend means best friend and now I've learned . During the test I kept thinking that I had only made these two, but unfortunately in part five I made more 3 mistakes, but it was great because I paid attention to the distractors, I knew they were there and despite that I failed, so I need to concetrate more.
I did it again and my score was 19/20 now, but for me in question 18 James said he doesn't get the chance to go away where he wants to go, so if in the answer, it said James can't travel to the places he'd like to go. For me, the correct answer should be T, but it’s F. Could someone explain it to me?
