You didn't explain why you chose those specific 3 chords from the Alt scale, the G+, Db and Eb. Why did you choose those and ignore the other available chords?
The reason for the D-flat triad in the E flat triad is that each of them contains both an altered fifth and an altered ninth. In order to make the altered nature of the chord stand out, you want to have one of each. His system of triads is actually brilliant, but perhaps you have to pay your dues and spend a long time shedding wood on the underlying scales to really understand the reasons.
