Isn't this just a perfect picture? The South Africa that we all love... where people of colour are serving, cleaning and guarding (well, except that dude playing golf), and all the Europeans are enjoying family time, bingo and great outdoors😊
As amazing as it is, our health is a concern here with the air pollution we struggle with daily! From when we wake up and the moment we go to sleep. Our family struggles with sinuses, headaches and numerous symptoms daily because of this!!!
@@sanelemwelase no the GMF makes sure that all the factories close by have all the correct monitoring equipment and certification in order. The FG landfill was shut down because of a GmF intervention. Bad smells come from ERWAT who are non compliant. There are legal proceedings happening here. We are very lucky to have such an active community making sure that lifestyle in Midstream is kept to the highest standard.
Excellent marketing of the Estate, minus the sickening and gut wrenching pollution and foul smells that at times will leave you unable to breathe and causes illness to both humans and animals - in at least 3 of the estates (Midlands, Meadows, Ridge). Their on-going and long battle over the years with local and national government authorities to address the pollution a real detraction from a fantastic living environment otherwise.
I would imagine that Midstream has a very diverse residential community. Perhaps some thought should be given to reflect that in the video. I'm afraid the current video suggests otherwise. Just on my corner alone, where I have been for the last 13 years, neighbours are Indian, Coloured, African, and White - let's fix this.

Believe it's is situated next to rubbish dumps. The smell unbearable if wind in wrong direction.
