    Hello, I got recommended this video and found it really interesting. My question is does training the ACL in this way promote healing on an MRI? As in- do these type of exercises actually encourage a partially torn or fully torn ACL to rebind and strengthen? Thank you so much for this great video

    • @ATGScience
      @ATGScience  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      This and the second part of this series...
      th-cam.com/video/tstbece2QFw/w-d-xo.html
      ...are geared to connect principles of ACL adaptation *TO* the exercises -- there's not studies in particular that have been done *ON* these exercises for MRI, but, the video I just sent above shows that conservative treatment *SUCH AS* what I shared, can lead to partial, or fully torn ACLs healing -- not medical guarantees, just sharing the data!

    Is it okay to do this without a wedge? I don't have one. If not, where do get those? Also do you eliminate the previous step after you move onto the next or do you just add the next step and continue to also do the previous step(s)?

    • @ATGScience
      @ATGScience  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s definitely okay to do these without a wedge. But the wedge *will* develop the acl to a greater extent than without - anything that elevates the heel 20-30 degrees will do - but if you want the exact wedge I’m using, check the link in the description; can use my discount code for 10% off 💪

    • @ATGScience

      Can look into that for you ! I'd imagine the effect would be similar, as, the graft strength in cadaver's gets stronger throughout the rehabilitative process.

    Does cycling help or worsen knee pain? Please advise, am trying to loose weight but have knee pain

    • @ATGScience
      @ATGScience  ปีที่แล้ว

      If pain free it can only be a help! I prefer options like *this* if possible though… more full body and greater opportunity for measurable loading.

    after ACL reconstruction, when can we start implement nordic curls?

    • @ATGScience
      @ATGScience  ปีที่แล้ว

      That goes a bit too much into the medical as far as the timeframe is concerned -- a good physical therapist will be able to give you the conclusive time frame in relation to the specific scenario -- when cleared to exercise, you're good to go!

    I destroyed my ACL a few weeks ago while skiing and I’m still debating whether to get surgery or not to rebuild it.

    • @ATGScience
      @ATGScience  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Understood -- the purpose of this video isn't to determine medical clearance for exercise -- but for those who *have* been cleared to exercise, this is my go to progression to strengthen the ACL -- I can't make that call medically for you from a legal standpoint; sorry! 🙏

    • @amoreazione3563
      @amoreazione3563 4 หลายเดือนก่อน
