Dr. You are my most loved doctor. I respect you very much. You always come with most valuable information. I have disc prolapse at L5 and S1 and several disc bulges. I go for walks now. My question is, can I go for long drives? I shall be thankful if you could spare some time to respond to my question.
Love and respect from India.
Long drives are fine and I am doing that too. However, take a break for every 30 - 45 minutes and get down from the car. Use a lumbar support for your car seat as well.
You must ease into any changes. Two steps forward. One step back. I agree with others who recommend breaking up the drives. As you build tolerance, you can go longer. th-cam.com/video/_OWB84wL8gE/w-d-xo.html

your my idol doc!!!!
good evening sir....
does bending forward is okay when having herniated disc?
Eventually, when the disc complaints start to subside, of course you can bend forward. But it takes time.
@@ShimSpineVideos thank you so much doc🙏

Hello sir can you show us more example about lifting object
Nice
Hey how are you sir? Quick question I've been bodybuilding for 13 years also deadlifting 500 to 600 pounds for most those years there has been times I have pulled my back out but it has healed I'd say in the last 4 years my lower back felt very tight also with a burning sensation in the lower back
Never any leg pain or numbness still able to lift a ton
Recently I pulled my back out again but this time its different the symptoms have seemed to ease ive also been doing exercise for the multificus muscle
The issue is when I sit and I get it it almost feels like I'm crippled
I'm 33 years old BTW
Any information would be highly helpful
Sorry to say, but this is what is happening to you right now. th-cam.com/video/JuTNqQioC1g/w-d-xo.html I wish I was 33 years old like you. Then, I would concentrate on preventing the advancement of degeneration by stretching, core, low impact aerobics, and reducing unnecessary stress on my body. A difficult conversation a body builder must have with themselves.
@@ShimSpineVideos ok now im just scared I'm going to be in a wheelchair by 40. Is this something that is recoverable or does it require surgery i havent deadlifted that weight in a while I do workout with light weights though
Sir your ligaments may injured, you take some months to heal, for full recovery you should avoid traveling, you can walk,do your work . After complete recovery u start moving by vehicle
