Sorry , that u have to face problem here. Sorry from the side of people of India. All people are not like that. I really enjoy watching your videos. Reply if u can
India was a trip that changed something in me like no place ever did! It was a place that is more than just beautiful buildings and people, it' s a very spiritual place. My favorite town was Jaipur,it has a lot of castles and palaces! You will love it if you go!
But what is in South Delhi for tourists to see, almost nothing! Most of the historical sites and tourist attractions are in around Old Delhi, that's why most of them go there.
I really don't know why people choose to stay in the red light district of delhi. Avoid paharganj like the plague. Even by government standards it is classified as a slum. Why dont you guys find airbnbs in south delhi or close to new delhi? Any middle class Indian would never chill out or even go close to that area. It screams ghetto
Yeah we weren’t aware how bad it was really. I saw some videos from other vloggers but it seems they sugarcoated it and made it seem cool and didn’t actually explain the reality of it. We only read our Airbnb reviews and nobody mentioned any issues around the area. We have paid attention since then and the rest of our trip has been good so far 👍 will continue with my videos promoting the great experiences and positives also 🙂
India does have Manny beautiful palacs and fort's 👍 and the red Palace was one of my favorite's 👍it's insane the horror's that went on in the 15th and 16th centuries for entertainment of the powerful 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Those building inside redfort serve different purposes for king and royal family at that time ....you should have read the description written on boards....i visited resently and was amazed to know that they had a room with AC like ventilation and even their bath house contains cold and warm waters made out of cupper pipes....people were smart even in 1600. And first building which has a big white seat was kings court room.
paharganj has actually got links with some underground smuggling syndicate ....so that is not a good place for travellers ...you should have avoided that locality
@@JumpingPlaces yup these guest houses have been operating there for decades ...there are accommodations in South Delhi area too but they are a bit more expensive though they are lot more safe and have a good gentry there ... the cost factor and proximity to railway station works in favour of paharganj ..another thing i have heard is availability of cheap drugs ...so it was actually popularised by those tourists in the 90s who went seeking for such things ....otherwise as a citizen of Delhi and being a girl i myself have never gone to paharganj ...it is not considered a decent place especially for women
Just loving your video's they are always full of great content, and you guys are so chilled out and so easy to watch, hope Carol was ok that is horrible to hear she had a bad experience thank you for sharing, take care
Love your traveling videos, so sorry to hear about the bad experience you guys encounter in that part of India, just be very careful when walking thru certain places in that country!
I am greatly saddened after hearing about the unpleasant experience you had in Old Delhi. If you ever face any trouble again, shout for help. India's a crowded place. There's a strong chance of people actually coming ahead to help
I think you ppl could have taken guidance from some Indians who could have guided you better.... try to avoid old market places... its good to visit only tourist spots .. stay safe... I'm not telling its unsafe... but bad ppl are everywhere in the world... !!! India has everything in big no... mean huge population, so bad ppl are also a lot in no... but to be honest crime rate is a lot lower than USA in percentage
@@JumpingPlaces yeah to be honest im not a fan of any of the major india cities. My favourite places in india r the smaller towns less hassle and chaos.
Please always be with your wife , our country is not so safe for women outside alone , our own women is not safe, once again bro sorry for what your family had tô face here
“Constructed in 1639 by the fifth Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as the palace of his fortified capital Shahjahanabad, the Red Fort is named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone and is adjacent to the older Salimgarh Fort, built by Islam Shah Suri in 1546 AD”
Brother sorry for what bad things which your wife had tô face in India , sorry but at some place you will find this kind of idiotic people , if any thing wrong happen tô you please inform the police.

Yeah for sure, not sure how such a dodgy place has so many guest houses for foreigners. Don’t think I have encountered that anywhere else yet

I stayed in that street for a week while the cricket world cup was on for a week watching England. I couldn't wait to leave after the last match.
Yeah on our first day there I could see we had made a mistake staying there pretty quickly, horrible place really
