- I have tested FSD Beta for about 2 years now and have seen many improvements but it was getting close to the way a human drives but you saw that it was deciding based on rules which my wife considered robotic like. This version so far has been FLAWLESS! It drives like a human and surprised me that it actually pulled into a parking space like a human at a rural store.
This is one of those things in life I’m happy I have to wait for. 26 and too much life going on to buy a fancy car!
I cannot believe what I just saw. Pulling over in parking lot!?😮
just got 12.3.3 upgrade from 12.0 (only had a few days) and gotta say might be using this more then regular driving. thanks for sharing.
Great to hear and I agree!
Thanks for the video!
That fast and smooth move into the parking space is great! It's so human-like!
We just got our update yesterday. Lots of improvements but overall still jittery. I’ll be impressed when it can handle our county road without phantom breaking.
I have driven about 350 miles maybe more using FSD 12.3 in rural Virginia on unmarked roads and marked roads, trees, no trees, Sunny, overcast and experienced none of that there. Yesterday in a drive in NJ, I experienced no jitter, but some unusual speed changes.
FSD did great! Now try self driving in a busy big city. Maybe during morning or afternoon rush hour.
check out whole mars catalog or AI DRIVR, they write drive in cites all the time
check out AI DRIVR. he does gnarly vids about driving in the hills of california and other busy busy areas.
I agree the improvement over v11 is clear. But it still makes mistakes, some serious, and so still requires moment to moment monitoring by the driver. This is still a beta inspite of the name change and so far not worth the $12k that many forked over years back after being told that it would be out of beta shortly. After 3.5 years of waiting the original owner of my Mod3 called it a $12k rip off and he was really a big fan right to the end.
When I purchased back in 2020 the cost was $5,000 dollars, much more reasonable. I really was interested in the technology , needed a new car as I keep my cars 18 to 20 years. The state was offering 6 or 7 thousand in rebates to buy an electric vehicle, federal incentives has expired and has since restarted, and no state sales tax on the purchase so the expense for me was lessen as I did not know early on there was no sales tax which I was already planning to pay. I have not had any serious mistakes other than getting into situations it would need to backup to get out of and cannot.
great video! thanks!
