      Thanks for the request. I have been building my “top ten” but haven’t published it yet because I’ve been wanting to try a few more games with my kids. (Preview: Calico went over much better than Isle of Cats!)

    Appreciate your thoughts on this game.
    I really like it. I agree that the diversifying of options, the blocking and the timing is probably to much for young children.
    Even though luck plays a part i like how it is really easy to identify when and how it influenced the outcome.
    Kingdom Builder is also one of the games where when it clicks you can almost read it off peoples faces. ;)

      And once that happens, you need to play again and again!
      If you happen to have children, a game that I think embodies the same idea but eliminates the blocking mechanic is Explorers by Phil Walker Harding.
