Very helpful video, thanks. A comment for others doing this installation (or any type of change to the gas pedal): take extra care that the rubber boot is correctly positioned. If it's not, it can catch on full throttle and stick open for a second. Not what you want!
I have successfully installed the gas, brake and clutch pedals on my RHD 996.1. The dead pedal unfortunately does not fit RHD. The Numeric Racing page has been updated to show this.
Buyer beware! This video is not accurate for a 996 from 1999. The 1999 996 uses a cable throttle to the engine. There is a cable that needs to be detached at the bottom of the gas pedal which is NOT shown in this video. This video is accurate for years 2000 to 2004 996 cars. I have a 1999 996. I had to bring my car to my mechanic to install the gas pedal when I encountered the cable.
The video is pretty accurate. At the 3:05 mark he explains the cable will be at either at the top or bottom of the pedal. We just happen to make the video with one at the top. The process is exactly the same. The cable just runs under the carpet. The housing is exactly the same.
@@NumericRacing I’m a lawyer not a mechanic. I bought your pedals thinking the install was going to be pretty easy after watching your video. When the throttle got stuck and I saw a cable running underneath the carpet I stopped cold. People who watch an install video like that are probably not mechanics. More explanation and quite frankly an alternative video with the cable throttle pedal is needed.
@@NumericRacing i also have a 1999, I'm thinking about buying a set from you guys. So the proces is the same as in the video except the cable is coming from the bottom? I don't have to loose other bits or something? I'm not a lawyer also not a mechanic and also not stupid, so I guess I can make it work. :)
As if you would have made the modification if your car was just like the pedal in the video. They’re both the same, except one is on top and the other is on the bottom. Perhaps you should not try to do any modifications to your car.

Great video, thanks. How do you know if it's full throttle when you install it? Can you feel that?
Wher this numeric racing pedal can be bought?
Pedály vypadají,že jsou kvalitně vyrobené,ale není tu adresa na objednání!
Do you make them for right hand drive car??

How much horse power does this add?
30-50 Depending on the car! Lol
